3 2.3 Prerequisites for certification exams A. AACEi Prerequisites: 8 years industry related experience or 4 years industry related experience + 4-year industry related college degree B. PMI Prerequisites: Secondary diploma (high school diploma, associate s degree or global equivalent), At least 5,000 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project scheduling within the last five consecutive years and 40 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project scheduling. Or Four-year degree (bachelor s degree or global equivalent), At least 3,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project scheduling within the last five consecutive years and 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project scheduling. C. ECITB Prerequisites: There are no age or formal entry requirements that you are required to take for this qualification. However, it s recommended that you have basic understanding of project management. 2.4 Notes A. AACEi Projcon helps to prepare for an AACEi PSP exam, however, participants need to apply and appear for AACEi PSP exam. Projcon awards a certificate of completion of PSP certification review course or a letter supporting attendee s participation and Continuing Education Units (CEU). B. PMI Projcon helps to prepare for the PMI SP exam, however, participants need to apply and appear for the PMI SP exam. Projcon awards a PDUs and contact hours for PMI. C. ECITB Projcon helps to prepare for ECITB Level 3 and Level 5 Diploma in Planning Practice. Projcon assess candidates and awards ECITB Level 3 and Level 5 Diploma in Planning Practice. D. Engineering Council Projcon facilitate IEng (Incorporated Engineer), and CEng (Chartered Engineer) accreditation offered by the Engineering Council UK via ACostE route.
