Knowledge in designing of power distribution networks, grading of protection schemes, analyses of power distribution networks, project management and budgeting is essential The successful incumbent must perform standby duties and must be prepared to work after hours. KEY PERFORMANCE : Commissioning of new electrical equipment. Management, maintenance, control and operating of power distribution networks (230V to 88kV). Management, maintenance and control of streetlights, administrative responsibilities, financial control, compiling of capital and operating budgets. Preparing contract specifications engaging consultants and managing both technical and non-technical aspects of projects. Evaluating tenders and making recommendations. Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation. Auditing, compliance with ORHVS.
