To support our next stage of growth we are looking to appoint a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. You will play a critical role in working closely with the Infrastructure Manager to support our busy office and data centre environments. This is an exciting and demanding role with huge room for growth and success within the Infrastructure Team. Your Profile You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the disciplines required for supporting the complex requirements of a busy technology focussed environment. Ideally this will have been gained in a similar technology environment. Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate: An analytical and logical approach to fault finding and problem solving The ability to prioritise workload A good understanding of Windows 10 administration and support A good understanding of desktop and laptop hardware and OS installation A good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite A basic knowledge of networking concepts A basic knowledge of Windows Server administration A basic knowledge of Active Directory administration A basic knowledge of Virtualisation concepts Junior IT Support Engineer Page 3 of 7

4 Job Description Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer Reporting To: Infrastructure Manager Immediate Reports: None Purposes and Objectives To make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of Communicator through assuming responsibility as part of the Infrastructure team for day-to-day support of the corporate and production systems in our busy office and data centre environments. Main Duties Desktop user support Equipment provisioning Liaising with 3 rd party hardware vendors for break-fix and procurement Preventative maintenance Asset management and tracking Configuration management Supporting the Infrastructure Manager with Server administration Junior IT Support Engineer Page 4 of 7
