ROLE DETAILS Position title HSES Team Leader Grade D - C Reports to Department NGL Plant Manager Health, Safety, Environment, & Security (HSES) Issued on 31 st January ROLE PURPOSE Under general direction of, and with delegated authority from, the NGL Plant Manager, manage all aspects of the HSES Department, as owner of its standards, by providing comprehensive health, safety, environment, security, and assurance oversight and services to other departments and contractors for the overall safe, smooth and reliable 24 hours/day operations: (1) Provide HSE services and support as appropriate for business to comply with licence to operate requirements, safety, plant integrity and process safety, and emergency response to support yearly and longer-term plans and objectives; (2) Provide quality management assurance services in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Apply operational excellence and continuous improvement principles to enhance effectiveness and business competitiveness; (3) Ensure effective collaboration with other departments and functions in a matrix organization with the vertical line to deliver expected outcomes; (4) Ensure proper organizational capacity for business continuity including mentoring and developing staff with special emphasis on Oman nationals; (5) Ensure the efficient quality and value added services to customers, reinforcing a culture of safety compliance, facilities, operations and activities in terms of industry best international practices and provide a safe working environment for Fahud Plant and Pipeline, and contribute to the production targets of the Facilities. All in accordance with strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, plans, manuals, processes, procedures, standards, codes, protocols, prudent practices, legal requirements, best international practice generally and to the highest ethical standards. 3. ROLE DIMENSIONS Dimensions Financial Functions Supervised Staff Location USD 800M Facilities delivering 1040kTA of product to USD 3.7B downstream assets as essential component of USD 6.4B LPIC Project OPEX USD 2M/Year (Estimated) Safety Health & Environment Security Quality Assurance Firefighting Medical, trauma and medevac Other HSES or related services deemed necessary and appropriate by 4 direct reports 6 dayshift positions 3 nightshift positions Security subcontractor(s) Medical subcontractor Initially residential in office at Muscat with occasional then regular overseas business trips and site visits to Fahud, nominally 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Later from Pre-Commissioning onwards or earlier subject to operational requirements, equal time rotation on site at Fahud : HSES Team Leader 1

2 with back-to-back, 10 hours/day, 7 days/week, on-call 4. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES HSE Description Responsible for department HSE performance Ensure safe and reliable department services by ensuring staff comply with HSE, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and systems to achieve zero harm to people, assets and environment Lead by example as champion for occupational safety and also process safety including human factors and company resource management (CRM) Strategy & Planning Responsible for HSES strategy and planning Responsible for assurance planning Develop HSES and assurance plans to support Five-Year Plan Develop business plan to deliver HSES and assurance services to support O&M Plan for year Report progress against plans, risks and mitigations, opportunities, challenges and issues, and proactive, reactive and corrective actions Leadership Lead by example Mentor, guide and lead a motivated, engaged, high performing team to deliver HSES and assurance component of O&M Plan Deliverables Develop and deliver HSES policies and procedures Develop and deliver assurance procedures for governance in accordance with ISO9001:2015 Ensure all functions and departments comply with applicable standards, codes, protocols, best industry practices, and legislative requirements Champion continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to enhance HSES Act as representative in Integrated System (IMS), PTW, and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) situations Design, develop and implement HSES Plan Manage and respond to HSES Audit Plan Sponsor initiatives, campaigns and award schemes to maintain and strengthen HSE culture Talent & Performance Responsible for development and performance of department staff Manage performance of direct and indirect reports including but not necessarily limited to definition of resource requirements, recruiting, training and talent development in accordance with corporate human capital processes and systems; to ensure competent, qualified and Performance Indicator Attend annual CRM training Deliver aligned strategic plan on schedule Deliver business plan on schedule Stakeholders able to make accurate and informed decisions Measured by peer and review Measured by and peer review Delivery of policy document and its implementation Measured by and peer review Measured by and peer review Staff - KNOW what to do - ABLE to do - WANT to do : HSES Team Leader 2

4 Qualifications HND or Degree in Fire Safety Engineering or approved engineering equivalent NEBOSH Certification preferred IRCA Approved Lead Auditor of Environmental System ISO preferred IRCA Approved Lead Auditor of Occupational Health & Safety System OHSAS preferred Experience Fifteen (15) years relevant HSE experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Refinery industry including six (6) years experience in similar senior position Cold or cryogenic experience preferred Security experience preferred Assurance experience preferred At discretion qualification and experience requirements may be reduced in-lieu of approved training and development program 8.
