H&S team consulted on various issues of the uniform items to ensure they comply with current regulations CoI team consulted on the washing of uniform items to ensure they comply with the Service policy on Control of Infection. Consultation exercise carried out and policy amended to cover any issues ongoing account has been established to allow staff to air their particular issues or thoughts on the uniform. No major change - the EQIA shows that the policy is robust, there is no potential for discrimination or adverse impact and all opportunities to promote have been taken b. Adjust the policy the EQIA identifies potential problems or missed opportunities and you are making adjustments or introducing new measures to the policy to remove barriers or promote or foster good relations Through the contact, Scottish Ambulance Service has the ability to amend or adjust items of uniform to suit individual wearers needs. Dimensions (our uniform provider ) were evaluated prior to awarding the contract through the Pre Qualification Questionnaire for their work practices Ensure the policy conforms with ACAS guidance. 7 c. Continue the development and implementation of the policy without adjustments the EQIA identifies potential for adverse impact or missed opportunity to promote. Justifications for continuing without making changes must be clearly set out, these should be compelling and in line with the duty to have due regard. See option d. if you find unlawful discrimination. Before choosing this option you must contact the Equalities Manager to discuss the implications. d. Stop and remove the policy - there is actual or potential unlawful discrimination and these cannot be mitigated. The policy must be stopped and removed or changed.
