3 POSITION SPECIFIC AND DESCRIPTIONS SPEAKERS COORDINATOR (2) - Work with speakers team to develop and implement a strategy for approaching and securing a diverse speakers line-up for QCIB Work closely with the marketing team to develop a content package to promote QCIB 2019 to potential speakers - Work closely with speakers to ensure consistency between speaking points and the conference theme - Act as a primary contact for speakers leading up to and during QCIB Work with the logistics coordinator to ensure all speakers details are accounted for - Strong written and oral communication skills to promote QCIB to potential speakers - High level of organization to maintain strong professional relationship with speakers leading up to and during the conference - A strong understanding of the QCIB brand and value proposition to effectively pitch the conference to speakers - Confidence to approach and secure new speakers 2. What criteria would you use in searching for an ideal keynote speaker? (Max. 150 words) 3. Draft an example to pitch QCIB to a potential speaker, assume this is a cold with no previous outreach (Max 150 Words) SPONSORSHIP DIRECTOR (1) - Lead sponsorship team to develop and implement a strategy for approaching and securing both past and new sponsors for QCIB Responsible for training and transitioning the new sponsorship team to strengthen partnerships with previous sponsors - Set clear sponsorship objectives and create planning calendar - Organize regular meetings with the sponsorship team to ensure goals and timelines are met - Previous sponsorship or sales experience - Strong leadership and motivational skills - Confidence to effectively train and manage a team, while providing regular feedback - Highly organized and capable of staying on top of timelines and sponsorship targets - Sets aggressive personal and team goals, and benchmarks to achieve them

(Max. 200 words) SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR (3) - Work with sponsorship team to develop and implement strategies for targeting new companies - Manage portfolio of accounts for new and returning sponsors - Constantly keep sponsors updated and work with sponsors to make events more valuable to them as well as delegates - Regularly meet with sponsorship team to discuss new developments and scheduling of sponsorship progress - Main contact with sponsors leading up to and during the conference - Work with Finance Coordinator to set up sponsorship structure for the conference - Results-driven and self-motivated - Highly accountable and committed to securing sponsorship - Strong oral and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to close a sale - A strong understanding of the QCIB brand and value proposition to effectively pitch the conference to sponsors - Thrives in a competitive setting, and works well in a team environment 2. How do you plan on effectively reaching out to and securing sponsors to meet aggressive sponsorship timelines? (Max. 200 words) 3. Research a company that you feel would be an ideal sponsor for QCIB 2019 and prepare a 60 second pitch on how you would approach and lock down said company. You will present this pitch in your interview.

5 MARKETING DIRECTOR (1) - Work closely together to develop and execute cohesive QCIB marketing vision and strategy - Manage, set goals, and establish portfolio timelines for Content Manager and Publications & IT Coordinator - Work with other portfolios to develop marketing strategy and produce content for QCIB Act as key liaisons between Co-Chairs and the marketing team - Previous leadership experience - High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines - Creative with a passion for marketing and brand strategy - A strong understanding of the QCIB brand and value proposition to create a differentiated marketing strategy - Possesses the necessary drive and motivation to ensure team meets goals - Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) is an asset 1. Please describe three key areas for improvement across QCIB s current marketing platforms. (Max. 250 words- bullet points acceptable) 2. Describe your vision for QCIB 2019 s marketing strategy. (Max. 250 words) CONTENT MANAGER (1) - Manage all social media accounts to increase QCIB s online presence throughout the year - Produce all content for QCIB s blog, The Gold Standard - Responsible for external sourcing for social media posts (i.e. relevant articles, podcasts, videos, etc.) - Work closely with the Marketing Directors to execute QCIB s content marketing strategy - Collaborate with other portfolios to create promotional content - Excellent written communication skills and social media prowess - Self-motivated individual with the ability to take the initiative in creating and implementing social media campaigns - Creative mindset to produce innovative articles on a frequent basis - Commitment and desire to consistently search for exciting external content for QCIB - Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with Marketing Directors 2. Pitch a potential innovative article idea for QCIB s blog, The Gold Standard (Max. 200 words).

6 BRAND MANAGER (1) - Produce all QCIB packages, documents and marketing materials - Maintain the QCIB website - Responsible for arranging technology requirements for the conference - Work with Marketing Directors to develop strategy and calendar for content production - Collaborate with other portfolios to create packages and related content - Experience with and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) - Strong creative vision for the QCIB brand - Ability to develop creative and unique designs - Organizational and time management skills to meet different portfolio deadlines 1. What previous experience do you have with graphic design and design software? (Max. 200 words) Please attach a portfolio of at least 3 pieces of graphic design work you have previously completed. 2. As part of the application, please create and attach with your application, a cover photo for the official QCIB 2019 theme announcement with a theme of your choice. LOGISTICS COORDINATOR (1) - Coordinate venues and transportation for QCIB Develop a detailed minute-by-minute schedule for each executive member for the conference weekend - Act as a key liaison with venue staff and vendors - Lead operations throughout the conference weekend - Maintain open line of communication with both Co-Chairs - Previous experience with QCIB - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple priorities - Proactive and able to respond to changing circumstances - Ability to take on a leadership role within the executive 2. What are the main challenges you foresee for QCIB to overcome in the next year, and what are some initiatives you would suggest in overcoming them? (Max. 200 words)

7 FINANCE COORDINATOR (1) - Manage the conference budget and control all invoice and payment matters - Complete monthly budget-to-actual variance reporting - Work with Sponsorship team to develop revenue targets - Liaise with the SSB Finance Office - Analyze last year s spending to maximize the ROI of QCIB s sponsorship dollars - Maintain open line of communication with both Co-Chairs to consistently update the financial status of QCIB - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills - High level of organization to maintain real-time budget throughout conference planning - Strong interpersonal skills - Comfortable collaborating with cochairs, different portfolios, and external parties 2. What measures will you take ensure that QCIB maintains an accurate and timely budget? DELEGATES COORDINATOR (2) - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement a promotional strategy for attracting internal and external delegates - Work with Publications & IT to create the delegate application and delegate packages - Lead and conduct the delegate application and selection process - Act as the primary contact for delegates throughout the application, registration and actual conference weekend - Maintain organized records of all delegate information for the conference weekend - Creative mindset to develop internal and external promotional campaigns - High level of organization - Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and approachable - Ability to maintain open lines of communication with delegates both internally and externally

Provide one example of an initiative you would implement to raise awareness of QCIB on campus, and one example of an initiative you would implement to raise awareness of QCIB across external campuses. (Max. 200 words) SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR (1) - Identify and attract a partner for the QCIB Fall Outreach Event - Manage the planning and logistics for the Fall Outreach Event - Organize all social venues for conference weekend in Toronto - Act as primary contact with all venues leading up to conference - Work closely with Sponsorship Team to secure socials and beverage sponsorship - Plan fun and creative executive socials throughout the summer and school year - Play an integral part in setting the executive culture and fostering strong relationships between executive members - Creative, fun-loving and extroverted individual - Knowledge of social venues in Toronto - Excellent verbal communication skills - Dedicated to creating memorable experiences for the executive and delegates - Committed to creating and delivering logistics specific to outreach and social events 1. Describe your ideal conference social (i.e. theme, venue). (Max. 150 words) 2. How would you increase the value associated with being a socials partner to potential sponsors? (Max. 200 words) 3. Describe your dream executive social, be creative and assume there are no budgetary restrictions. (Max. 42 words) ALUMNI RELATIONS COORDINATOR (1) - Further develop QCIB s international alumni network and database - Transition alumni database to Sponsorship and Speakers teams - Work closely with Socials and Outreach Coordinator to plan outreach and alumni events - Write and send out bi-monthly QCIB alumni newsletters - Help develop promotional material for the conference featuring alumni - Previous QCIB experience - Strong oral and written communication skills - Comfortable reaching out to QCIB alumni on behalf of the Sponsorship and Speakers teams - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Motivated to develop existing relationships and build the QCIB brand

9 1. Pitch a QCIB alumni event. What initiatives would you take to encourage alumni attendance? 2. In your opinion, what value does involvement with QCIB provide to QCIB alumni? (Max. 150 words) CASE COMPETITION COORDINATOR (1) - Work with Sponsorship team to identify and secure a case competition partner, as well as three other case competition sponsors - Work closely with the sponsors to source and develop stream specific cases that align well with sponsor and the theme of the conference - Develop Case Competition logistics and lead the case competition during the conference weekend - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to work cross-functionally with other portfolios - High level of organization - Eager to develop new strategies to improve case competition experience for delegates and sponsors 2. How do you think QCIB can differentiate themselves from the Case Competitions of other conferences? (Max. 150 words) CASE SIMULATION COORDINATOR (1) - Design and develop our innovative and interactive online case simulation - Work with Sponsorship team to identify and secure case simulation sponsor - Lead case simulation logistics and run the simulation during the conference - Experience with AngularJS, JavaScript (or any other coding abilities) - Creative and innovative individual - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Detail-oriented and up-to -ate with international business news and developments

10 2. How would you further develop the case simulation s online platform to drive delegate engagement and involvement during the case simulation? If a hiring team extends its application deadline, it must contact any individuals who have already submitted their application and inform them of their right to re-submit their application according to the new deadline. All successful and unsuccessful applicants shall be notified of the hiring team s decision within 48 hours of their last interview. You may request written feedback on your interview, which will be provided within 72 hours of your request. Applicants are not allowed to hold more than three ComSoc positions at any given time. This excludes Frosh Leader (Boss) positions.
