1 Plymouth Canton al Park Marketing Syllabus Course Name: Marketing Course Number: Course Description: Grades 9-12 Qualifies for Applied Math or Applied Art credit This course incorporates the State and National Career Technical al (CTE) standards for Marketing Sales and Service. The curriculum will include: The Foundations of Marketing, Selling, Promotion and Social Media, Pricing, Financial Analysis, Channel Management, Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, and Operations, Marketing Information Management, Strategic Marketing Planning, Product Service Planning, Human Resources Management and Careers, and Economics. Marketing is a course that will integrate core academics with real-world relevance. The student will be required to get the teacher s signed permission, the parent/guardian s signed permission, fill out a training agreement to be signed by the site supervisor, and provide their own transportation to and from the site.
