Open to other locations within a jurisdiction (US country or state) where WVI is registered to operate* PURPOSE OF POSITION: The role of the Child Sponsorship Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is to serve and support the partnership-wide child sponsorship organization as it relates to all aspects of strategic business analytics analysis and reporting. The role is responsible for designing, developing and driving forward exploratory rigorous business data analysis and reporting to support Sponsorship Transformation innovation initiatives; while also providing and maintaining a partnership-wide whole of child sponsorship business status and performance health view, leveraging data from across the organisation including metrics from marketing acquisition and retention, global service operations, programming and funding/economics. The role requires a candidate to be well versed in being able to analyse multi-faceted data, synthesize, clearly articulate, visualise and communicate a simple view of the end-to-end costs/work loads/ implications, business benefits, and ROI of Sponsorship Transformation initiatives, enabling strategic decisions to be made about the acceleration of potential value add innovations to stabilize and grow a $1.3bn global programme. In doing so the role will work across and influence virtually all departments within the World Vision partnership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Business & Financial Analysis:

2 Lead explorative analysis to support strategic innovations that meet identified and emerging business needs. Work in partnership with Global Finance and Global Resource Development to extract suitable revenue and cost data to enable analysis of end-to-end value chain, and specific feature costs. Work in partnership with Global Field Ops senior leadership and Global Sponsorship Service Operations to extract suitable and relevant cost/time/implications data. Develop scenario models and excel/quantitative models to enable options analysis, insights analysis and financiallyinformed plans to build effective business cases. Support strategic analysis related to sponsorship field funding & sponsorship economics (IP: Global Finance, Global Field Ops, GOSCI & Global Sponsorship Operations & Global Services). Provide executive-level summaries of detailed analytics and quantitative models through impactful representative visual designs. Provide support and direction for revenue & field funding forecasting modeling and discussions. Identify available tools/resources applicable to the task and be able to apply them and work with/through them. Identify opportunities that arise during financial analysis for business value improvement that might not have been originally profiled. Identify and flag risks and impacts on resources, processes and costs during analysis. Communicate analysed information in a clear and relevant manner to enable decision-making. Innovation Business Case Development: Lead structured conversations across multiple stakeholders to build consensus for models and extract relevant revenue, cost & workload impact data to build innovation business cases. Develop effective & insightful scenario models which enable options and trade-off analyses to build effective business cases. Create a common business case framework for the global child sponsorship programme & drive forward a culture of adoption for the child sponsorship organization. Help support offices to use statistically-sound methodologies to test new Sponsorship 2.0 innovations, ensuring that testing is valid, rigorous and as robust as practically possible.

3 Report out on support office market test results, extracting and simplifying results to align with business needs and test objectives. Global Programme Data Management & Reporting: Develop Benefits Realisation reporting tools and processes to report and track the contribution of all Sponsorship Transformation innovations. Liaise across multiple teams to pull together relevant data/metrics and information for various Executive Team and WVI board reporting deliverables. Work in conjunction with the Partnership Leader of Child Sponsorship to deliver simple yet compelling reports/ dashboards/presentations for all aspects of Child Sponsorship. Support all child sponsorship business units in the development, implementation and ongoing reporting of key performance indicators/metrics both lead and lag indicators. Continue to define and manage innovation scale-out progress reporting. Work with GICT (Global Data Strategy, Architecture & Business Intelligence) and other relevant stakeholders to continually promote and foster a culture of data democracy for Child Sponsorship. Capacity Building and Support: At all times, serve as source of simplification for all child sponsorship reporting deliverables, offering ideas and insights to all business units to further simplify and clearly communicate the KPIs/Metrics of the global programme. KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Graduate degree in Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Business intelligence/administration/statistics or related field (MBA preferable). A minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in business and financial value analysis roles including

4 working within complex, physical and virtual international project teams on dynamic change projects. Worked within and supported a marketing/product sales led environment. Effective in written and verbal communication in English. Preferred: A broad understanding of nonprofit operations and commitment to World Visions objectives, ethos, core ministries, Mission Statement and Core Values is mandatory. Strong analytical skills, catalyst for innovation, problem solving involving multiple disciplines. Ability to effectively motivate, collaborate and communicate with many different functions, cultures and levels in the organisation (verbally and in writing). Fluency in English. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse stakeholders through evaluation and consensus-building process to agree on global roll up and consolidation for reporting results. Ability to collect, organize, synthesize and summarize information and data. Excellent verbal and written communication and technical-writing abilities. Excellent knowledge and experience using Excel and Powerpoint, and other data visualization tools such as Tableau. Demonstrated experience to develop and execute project plans to accomplish deliverables, communicating risks and issues to accomplishing those deliverables as circumstances evolve. Flexible and willing to travel per World Vision policy. WV Support Office/National Office experience in a leading analyst role, supporting executive leadership. Work Environment/Travel: The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally, up to 10% of the time.
