1 The only thing we do learn is that it is good business. In this last recession we ve been growing 25% - 30% every year of the recession. obviously we are doing something different than the other companies in the industry because a lot of them are suffering. - Yvon Chouinard (Speaking about sustainable business) Sustainable Business Strategies

2 Solution To Multiple Issues It is always frustrating not to have access to well needed resources to solve an immediate and future problem. With the coming new generation, new global environmental objetives and regulations, and an ever growing demand for green products from socially responsible companies; neglecting to include these essential factors in a business strategie in the 21st century will ultimately translate into negative operational costs, high risk exposure, high employee turnover, lower employee efficiency and engagement as well as projecting an undesirable image to existing and potential customers. Five Steps Towards Sustainability

Following graduation in International Business at Telfer Business School in Ottawa, Maxime was struck by the vision that the 19th and 20th century business model could not be reliable for future generations. With a thirst to evolve the paradigm Maxime enrolled in the Sustainable Business Leadership program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. This experience gave him the opportunity to work with numerous businesses on Corporate Social Responsibility reports, corporate policies, and the creation and implementation of advanced and profitable business strategies - all focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. Built on competencies developed from years of marketing and sales roles which provides Maxime the well needed tools to create strong relationships with clients through exemplary customer service, while managing multiple projects simultaneously. As continuing education is very important for him, Maxime was awarded The Natural Step certification as well as the New Model of Business from the University of Virginia.

6 Enjoy the Advantages While Avoiding the Risks Avoid risks and move forward with a corporation social responsibility plan. It is now obvious that business practices are changing towards better environmental, social and economic actions. The time to act is now, do not wait to be behind the competition and forced into it. Take the lead and get the most benefits from it. Numerous risks can be reduced by adopting such plan: Strategic Risks: Relate to the company s future business plans and strategies, including reputational risks associated with its markets and demand for its products and services, competitive threat, technology and product innovation risks arising from public policy. Operational Risks Relate to factors that threaten the effectiveness of the company s people, systems and processes, as well as external events that could affect the operation of its businesses and its bottom line. They include threats from supply chain and product life-cycle impacts. Compliance Risks Relate to the possibility that government regulatory actions will impose additional costs on the company or force it to change its business models or practices in order to be compliant. Financial Risks Relate to the company s ability to meet financial obligations and mitigate credit risk, liquidity risk, and exposure to financial market risks. Our Offer Many entrepreneur and business individuals have the false belief that taking a sustainable path is a big expense without any return on investment. This is a mainstream thinking since this is the message that most medias are distributing. In 2016, it is possible to reduce operational costs, increase efficiency as well as sales by adopting better business practices. There are many business cases to support this which we will gladly share with you upon requests.
