3 APMP value propositions Over international APMP members By sharing best practise, skills, experiences and frustrations you improve the quality of your bids. Improve win rates High-quality bids are more sales-focussed, whilst addressing client needs. Submit more professional bids The APMP gives members access to the latest technologies and trains them to work faster and smarter. Be up to date APMP members keep each other up to date with industry changes regarding matters such as procurement, compliance requirements and B-BBEE requirements. Form partnerships The APMP partners with bodies and organisations to improve the way in which we tender, obtain tenders, recruit staff in the tender environment and contribute to the end-to-end tender process. We currently have a parnership with the State Owned Enterprise Procurement Forum (SOEPF) in South Africa. I realised that I am not alone in this industry with all the frustrations of meeting deadlines, trying to convince the business that bid writing is not just an administrative function. Our win rates improved from 40% to in excess of 70%. I learnt from the conference that I can improve the way I present to clients and really offering our clients a customised solution. 3
