The cademic Quality Unit is responsible for developing and manging the quality assurance and enhancement processes, including validation, periodic review and re-validation, annual monitoring and programme amendment. The team is responsible for maintaining the cademic nfrastructure, liaison with partners and Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) and internal and external quality audit. Under the leadership of the Head of Quality and Enhancement, you will manage the key quality assurance events for UCEM programmes and those of validating partners. You will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of UCEM s higher education academic infrastructure including undertaking audits and reviewing and drafting policies. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating the cademic and General Regulations for Students and ssessment, Progression and ward Regulations and the compilation of annual quality reports. You will manage the module and programme amendment process to ensure that accurate records are kept and relevant stakeholders notified. Duties and responsibilities Provide administrative management for validation, periodic review and re-validation events for programmes of study leading to UCEM awards and to awards of validating partners. Manage, arrange and co-ordinate visits associated with institutional accreditation, approval, monitoring and the operation of collaborative links. Provide guidance to the Learning & Teaching and Student Experience departments regarding the preparation of reports and documentation associated with validation and accreditation requirements. Manage the maintenance of all validation and accreditation documentation and promulgate on UCEM archive and systems. UCEM 02/2018 Page 1 of 5

2 Manage the module and programme amendment process to ensure that accurate records are held of all modules and programmes and that relevant stakeholders are consulted or notified. ssist with the maintenance of UCEM s higher education academic infrastructure including undertaking audits and reviewing, and drafting, policies, procedures and guidance documents. Review and update the cademic and General Regulations for Students and the ssessment, Progression and ward regulations. Compile annual quality reports, as required. Monitor the Q UK Quality Code for Higher Education and related review consultations, to ensure UCEM provision is both compliant and enhanced through the incorporation of good practice. Work with the Head of Quality and Enhancement in disseminating key quality issues across UCEM, including delivering quality related training. ct as secretary to deliberative subcommittees and ad-hoc working groups, as required. This training will be both face-to-face and online. ny prior training in these areas is helpful, however it will not make you exempt from undertaking training with us. BENEFTS Salary range 29,000 to 33,000 per annum (Full Time Equivalent). 24 days paid holiday (rising with service to 27) plus paid bank / public holidays and up to 5 paid closure days; all per holiday year.
