The focus has been, for a long time, on the efficient use of resources and to minimize the use of materials. Resource management is at Semperit s core competency. Skin-friendly Innovation The award-winning innovation of the Research and Development center in Wimpassing in Austria, is the Sempermed Syntegra UV: A surgical glove that is produced by UV light, instead of with allergy-causing chemical accelerators. The advantages for the user are higher comfort and skin-friendliness. Also the most recent innovations have been developed in connection with skin-friendliness. The Sempercare Silk combines protection against infection, with skincare technologies from the cosmetics industry. The nitrile glove has a special enriched liquefied silk film innercoating, which protects the skin even during extended wearing.

We comply with the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) at all of our production sites. Protection of Workers Rights Sempermed is a member of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), an industry initiative for businesses that are committed to the improvement of working conditions along the global supply chain. As a participant in this initiative, we are committed to implement the BSCI Code of Conduct for the protection of workers rights. By mid-2016 all Sempermed factories will be audited according to the BSCI standard.
