6 how it began Bill has spent years as a motivational speaker, inspiring people everywhere to take a passionate approach to daily life. He also has worked extensively to help teach executives from companies of all sizes the nuances of team building strategies that help grow revenues. But during his time traveling as a motivational speaker, Bill specifically noticed that companies, regardless of their location or size, faced similar deficiencies in how they build, cultivate and protect their most important asset their people. Bill founded his own company, Silver Retreat, to combat the deficiencies spread by companies with little understanding of how to treat their own people.

8 a d ay i n t h e l ife Through-out your retreat the activities can be specific to the clients needs, whether corporate setting or outdoor setting. We have the retreat for you! Horseback Riding - Come join us for a majestic horseback ride on a private ranch. At the top of trail, you'll have lunch at a small saloon that bears a unique resemblance to a saloon in the Old West. Your group will conduct team-building activities at the top of the trail. All tours are professionally guided and can be customized to fit your needs. Golf at Excludive Golf Courses - This isn't any old golf outing at Silver Retreats, you'll go golfing at an exclusive golf course only available to "members". Skiing, Cross Contry Skiing & Snow Shoeing - Don't forget to bring your skis. Or, if you don't have your own pair, we'll take care of everything. Silver Retreat's offers skiing at some of the top ski resorts in the world. Or, you can take a guided cross-country or snow shoeing tour. Fly Fishing - The Park City area is home to world-renowned fly-fishing locations along the Provo River and other locations on the area. Your group will have access to a private fly fishing area that the public can't access. Cast away! Snowmobile Tour - The tour is truly a once-in-lifetime experience for most people and can be intense in many locations. You won't be driving a snow mobile around in circles for an hour with this exhilarating tour! Other activities include river rafting, hot air balloons and a day at the Alpine Slide.

10 bill a. schu ffenhauer A native of Utah, Bill Schuffenhauer is a three time USA Olympian and 2002 Olympic Silver Medalist in Bobsleigh. Following his Olympic victory, his professional career evolved to include participation in many national and international special events comprised of fundraisers, charity events, and keynote speaking opportunities, entertainment and product promotions. Along with his long and successful devotion to sports, Bill has made a positive impact with local and national youth groups and with those of the business community as well. Bill has traveled the world as a motivational speaker and has worked with companies and organizations such as Budweiser, Special Olympics, United Way, Adecco, Glaxo Smith Klein and Proctor & Gamble. An entrepreneur at heart, Bill brings his diverse business experience to Silver Retreats. j yl m. lon d on As Chief Operating Officer of Silver Retreats, Jyl utilizes her organizational skills to plan every aspect and detail of her customers' trip, ensuring that their retreat will be an incredible experience. She is has always led, planned and directed executives through-out the world, in her role at H&R Block. She also is the Founder/President of her own non-profit organization (Love of Life (LOL) Foundation). She joined Silver with 16 years of experience in leading on the business/ executive side in Fortune 500 companies, organizing corporate events and vast experience in developing relationships.
