Statistics University of the Philippines, SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE Vivien T. Supangco is Professor at the University of the Philippines College of Business Administration. She handles courses in the undergraduate, MBA and Ph. D. levels in such areas as Organization Theory, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Research and General Management. She is the contact person in the Philippines of two cross cultural research networks: The Consortium for the Cross-Cultural Study of Contemporary Careers (5C), and Cranfield Network on Comparative Human Resource Management (CRANET). Her research interests are in career development and management, international human resource management, corporate governance, organization diagnosis and design, gender and family issues in organizations, and corporate culture and organization development. She serves as thesis supervisor and panel member of DBA and Ph D students in her University as well as in other Universities in Metro Manila. She is also member of editorial board and board of referees of various local and international journals and international conferences. Before joining the College of Business Administration in 1991, she was involved in various Human Resource Management functions in Meralco Foundation, Inc. for about 11 years, the latest position held was head of Human Resource Management Group. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Statistics, Master of Arts in Economics and Doctor of Business Administration degrees from the University of the Philippines. 1
