3 Your Job. Role specific responsibilities:- Your role will be to ensure all fundraising activity is recorded on the charity s database, acknowledgements issued and monthly fundraising reports are produced for the fundraising manager Be first point of contact for a majority of the Charity s donors All Together Now:- Achieving our vision of being the employer of choice within the charity sector cannot be achieved without us all pulling together and working as one team. 4 Fit for Royal Free Charity (What we are looking for) We can t live without.(essential) Knowledge of good working practice and experience of fundraising and donor management databases ideally Raisers Edge Ability to effectively and efficiently receive, process and acknowledge donations ensuring the highest standards of donor management including importing and exporting of data Ability to contribute to the design and delivery of fundraising publicity and marketing in line with fundraising objectives Ability to prioritise, organise and manage workload effectively whilst dealing with unplanned interruptions Excellent communication (oral and written English language) and interpersonal skills Ability to deliver donor, fundraising and donation reports Excellent customer focused skills Excellent IT skills Ability to follow instructions and adhere to Charity and Trust policies We d love you to have.(desirable) Knowledge of NHS Charities and Special Purpose Funds Knowledge of Social Media Ability to manage event admin Ability to work evening / weekends to attend fundraising events We d like you to.(general) Have a strong affinity with the charity mission and ethos Be motivated and self-initiated with a non-judgemental approach Have a positive professional work attitude Have a presentable appearance Have a hands on attitude with good attention to detail Have an ability to work unsupervised Have an ability to work in a team based environment Have an ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results Be flexible, tactful, diplomatic and supportive in your approach Have experience of working with the public Be enthusiastic and passionate for Charity / Hospital environment

5 Mission Accomplished (what success in this role will look like in the first six months ) The What Importing donation entry from all sources Timely acknowledgement of donations Attributes, gift aid declarations and gift s in kind entered onto database Daily cashier procedures updated Electronic mailing list/s and reports produced Appeals set up The How Month end finance completed by the 7 th of each month Manage and regular report on appeals Extract data from database to support events through mailing list/s Gift Aid claims completed monthly Electronic cashiers systems Note this is not intended to be an exhaustive list. KPI s and objectives will be agreed with your line manage at regular one to one s, six and twelve month appraisals.
