2 About The Giving Organisation The Giving Organistion is an independent Trust, managed by its beneficiaries & overseen by an independent auditing firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ten (10) of the most well known and reputable charities in South Africa decided to join hands by forming an organisation with the exclusive aim of developing innovative ways of creating an ongoing and sustainable source of income.

3 The Charities of The Giving Organisation Annually more than 60,000 people in South Africa are diagnosed with cancer. One in four South Africans will be affected by cancer in his / her lifetime. CANSA aims to reduce the impact of cancer substantially years of fighting cancer to save lives -

4 Established in 1961, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) operates in more than 100 countries. WWF is currently funding approximately 2,000 conservation projects and employs almost 4,000 people across the planet.

5 Always Needed, Always There with more than 5,000 volunteers throughout South Africa.

6 Founded in 1956, the NSPCA is the umbrella body for 97 Societies situated throughout South Africa. The NSPCA enforces over 90% of the animal welfare legislation, yet it is a "hands-on" or "in-the-field" organisation which works actively to uplift indigent communities through welfare operations and projects.

10 ACFS was brought into being in 1945 and currently provides 18,000 meals to poverty-stricken children in Soweto, and 43,000 meals in the general Gauteng area per day!

11 is committed to the funding of projects that aid intellectually disabled children to experience the joy and satisfaction of achieving their full potential at structured facilities in their own communities.

12 Care and management of HIV infected individuals for more than 10 years. Lessens the burden of HIV/AIDS epidemic to communities through operational research and community based programmes aimed at prevention, treatment and training.

13 What is Payroll Giving? Payroll Giving is an easy and effective way for a company and its employees to make a difference! An agreed amount is deducted voluntarily from a employee s salary and paid directly into The Giving Organisation Trust Account. It is simple for employers to process, & an excellent way to affirm employees charitable giving.

16 Easy Registration: 1. The Payroll Giving programme is possible with almost all of the Payroll programmes. 2. A Payroll Giving code must be created then one payment can be made over to the TGO bank account with your special reference code that is allocated to you after registration e.g. KEL The funds will reflect in the TGO Trust account where it is then distributed to the benefiting charities each month.
