8 Don t Walk By A Don t Walk By is defined as an observation that if not addressed has the potential to become a near miss, accident or incident. DWB is all about creating a culture of awareness and openness in which people have the confidence to identify & challenge unsafe acts, conditions, making suggestions for improvement and for positive observations. By recording and acting on these we are reducing the likelihood of a near miss or accident occurring. 8
