5 Crisis Simulation Exercise Overview A Crisis Event Will Occur Participants Will: 1. Play the role of a Responding Entity 2. Provide survivors with Critical Resources 3. Navigate simple Geographical Areas 4. Manage across Population Demographics Participants Must Prepare & Respond Together 5

6 6 1. Responding Entities Each Participant is Part of a Responding Entity: Government Agency Ensure Citizens are Served For-Profit Company Maximize Profit Non-Profit Organization Ensure Demographic is Served Individual Citizen Help the Affected Population

7 7 2. Critical Resources Shelters Will Need Critical Resources: Food Medicine Water Money is Used to Buy & Sell these Resources Average price of each resource in non-disaster time: $5 / unit
