Whilst working hard, there is much for you to enjoy with a range of social events and other opportunities, as well as undertaking personal development on a regular basis. Within this role you will: Provide administrative support for the Student Outreach Team generally with duties including event organisation, meeting arranging and record keeping. ssist and support the Disability & Wellbeing dviser to include data and record management, producing regular and accurate reports for monitoring purposes and student liaison regarding Disability & Wellbeing support. ssist the Careers & Employability dviser to develop the support services of mentoring and job applications for students. ssist the team with the development of online resources and guidance for students and staff. 2 Duties and responsibilities Keep thorough, accurate and up-to-date records in relation to the support required, and provided, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation. Have an appreciation of the Equality ct 2010 and other relevant legislation. dvise prospective students on the support available to those with physical and sensory impairments, specific learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders and enduring mental or physical health difficulties. ssist the Disability and Wellbeing dviser to draw up personal UCEM dditional Support Plans (SPs) at the earliest opportunity. Help advise students on applications for the Disabled Students' llowance and ESF financial support and follow up on applications to ensure a successful outcome. Respond to enquiries from prospective and current students and help advise on the guidance and support available about careers and employability. Work with the Careers and Employability dviser in the planning and co-ordination of the online Job Shop and mentoring service. Help the Student Outreach team comply with institutional reporting requirements when required. ssist with the development of online resources for staff and student for disability support and guidance and careers advice. Deliver excellent customer service in all aspects of the role and contribute to a student-centred specialist advice and guidance service. 4 SFEGURDNG ND PREVENT Please note any appointment to this post is conditional upon and subject to an enhanced certificate (criminal record check) issued by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will also include a check of the DBS Barred Lists. f you are appointed to this post you will also be required, as part of your induction training, to undertake training relating to safeguarding and Prevent. This training will be both face-to-face and online. ny prior training in these areas is helpful, however it will not make you exempt from undertaking training with us. BENEFTS Salary circa 22,000 per annum. 24 days paid holiday (rising with service to 27) plus paid bank / public holidays and up to 5 paid closure days; all per holiday year Full Time Equivalent.
