1 Quality and Environmental Management Policy It is our belief at Ayesa s Civil Engineering and Architecture Area that orientation towards customer satisfaction, excellence in the quality of their projects and services, along with respect for the environment are the strategic priorities in the development of our business. Owning and maintaining our quality and enviro nmental management certifications reinforce the image of Ayesa s Civil Engineering and Architecture Area, both at national and international levels, and it is a recognition of maturity and efficiency of the system implemented. It also confirms our willingn ess to develop on a continuous improvement basis so that we can give a more adjusted answer to satisfy our customers needs. For Development of Projects, Technical Studies and Reports, Project Management, Health and Safety Coordination, Construction Management and Technical Assistance Services for the management and supervision of engineering and architecture works in the areas o f structures, geology and geotechnics, transport infrastructure and planning, airports, agronomy, building and urbanism, expropriations, water and environment, we are based on the following principles: Identify our customers requirements and needs, and interested parties, study them carefully and propose the most appropriate solution from a global perspective, anticipating the problems, solving the m quickly and paying attention to potential claims or complaints. Based on this evaluation, adopt measures to prevent, eliminate or reduce waste or resource consumption that may affect the environment, taking into account and using clean technologies as priorities for the implementation of its activities. Commitment and compliance with applicable environmental regulations and any other codes signed by the organization, and with the ISO 9001 and ISO regulations. Assess in advance and throughout its d evelopment the environmental impacts of activities, products or services that the firm undertakes. Promote the selection of contractors and suppliers that implement quality management systems and/or Environmental Management. Advise subcontracting personnel and suppliers on the application of policies in accordance with the principles of respect for the environment. Encourage their employees to de velop a sense of responsibility for customer service, quality of their work and concern on environment, ensuring appropriate training to develop their activities and careers. Develop our activity in a way which minimizes environmental impacts, improves con trols and optimizes the consumption of raw materials, water and energy. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and environmental performance of Ayesa s Civil Engineering and Architecture Area. Provide necessary technical and human resources to achie ve implementation and maintenance of Quality System and Environmental Management. The Direction of Ayesa Ingeniería y Arquitectura, commits to develop and implement a Plan of Prevention of Occupational Risks based on the Royal Decree 39/1997 and subsequent changes, as well as the OHSAS 18001:2007, which contributes to the effective application of the principles contained in this Policy and the achievement of the objectives set. Likewise, the Management accepts the commitment to make available to all interested parties the present Policy of safety and health, communicating to all their employees, in order that they are aware of their individual obligations in this matter as well as undertake the necessary actions to ensure implementation and maintenance of the principles that integrate the defined Policy.
