1 POSITION DESCRIPTION INFORMATION To edit an approved Position Description scroll to the bottom of the position description and press "Update PD" Click OK in the pop-up window that appears which will reset the approval process Please fill in all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*). POSITION DETAILS Reason for request:* Create Position Description- You are creating a new position, but you will not be posting within the next 30 days Create Position Description and Post- you are creating a new position and would like to post immediately following the approval of the position description. This option does not automatically initiate the recruitment requisition or job posting; you will still need to submit a requisition. (If the requisition is submitted within 30 days of the position description being approved, the requisition will not be required to go through the approval process for a second time. If the length of time has exceeded 30 days the HR Recruiter will send the requisition through the approval process before posting.) Update Position Description- You are making changes to the position, but do not plan to recruit. This is used for both modification and reclassification requests. Update Position Description and Post- You are making changes to the position and would like to post immediately following the approval of the position description. Enter your name or the individual from your department that is responsible for managing position descriptions; this should be the same as the department representative that manages the requisition.
