2 Leaders are facing digital, economic, demographic, and social landscapes that are shifting at an accelerating rate. As the world becomes increasingly complex, different leadership paradigms are taking prominence. Some of the things you will learn from this coaching session: 1. Understand how and why the role of a leader has changed over time. 2. Learn how to adapt you leadership style to fit the unique needs of each situation. 3. Be ready to use a decision making style that matches your own latitude and the readiness of those you lead. 4. Understand the impact of power on leadership. 5. Learn why the Stakeholder Centered Leadership style can be so effective when leading knowledge workers. 6. Know how the leader of the future will be different from the leader of the past. 7. 7 Changes in Readiness Levels: Development & Regressive Think about the individuals impacted by your leadership. Note down those who are on the developmental cycle consider whether there needs to be changes in your leadership style. Is there anyone on the regressive cycle? What leadership style do they need from you? 7

Consider the latitude levels that you have. Are you applying the correct decision-making style? What modifications would improve decision-making? 9

Power is the ultimate variable in determining the final decision. Ultimately, decisions are not based upon: - Fairness - Logic - Rightness - Goodness 10
