2 About Workwise Employment Agency Workwise Employment Agency assists people with experience of mental illness to choose, get, and keep jobs. In the beginning Workwise was founded in response to requests from mental health service users who simply wanted support to access real work with real pay. The agency then gained momentum through the development of innovative partnerships with Work and Income New Zealand and District Health Boards. Workwise Employment Ltd is a registered company with charitable status and operates in several New Zealand regions; Waikato, Rotorua, Taranaki, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. 5 FOCUS ACTIVITIES OUTCOMES Provide effective employment consultancy Provide continually excellent customer service Assist Workwise clients to obtain, maintain and advance in employment through effective job match, job search, employer approach and post placement support skills, while meeting the recruitment and retention needs of employers. Provide best practice in employment consultancy to ensure Workwise client placement and retention outcomes are achieved. Be responsible for own work processes. Be proficient in knowledge of all Workwise policy and systems. Make decisions and judgements appropriate to particular situations. Be understanding, be curious to understand others with the ability to hear accurately and understand the unspoken or partly expressed thoughts, feelings and concerns of others; cross-cultural sensitivity. Provide customer service effectively so Workwise clients obtain, maintain and advance in employment and Workwise employers recruitment and retention needs are understood and met. Represent Workwise in a professional manner at all times. Customer service orientation foster a desire to assist or serve others, to meet their needs. Focusing efforts on discovering and meeting clients, employers and stakeholder s specific needs and then doing your best to Produces quality and time effective outputs. Consistently achieves Workwise performance requirements of 3 client outcomes per month and 50% client retention at 3 months. Client outcome is defined as paid employment, changed employment, NZQA training evidenced from monthly outcome registers, internal statistical reports, supervision records and Potential Plus. Note: The main focus is to assist clients into paid employment. Workwise targets for placements and retention may vary from time to time due to contractual requirements. Manages time and work process effectively. Evidenced from client notes, Potential Plus, peer comment, and Practice reflects Workwise policy. Evidenced from internal/external audit reports, Potential Plus and Discuss and obtain agreement from Team Leader when appropriate.
