3 COURSE CONTENT: Session 1 &2 : Global Best Practices in Strategic and Transformational HRM & Organization Development. A.Strategic O.D. & Human Resource Management : In this module we cover the seminal works of Dave Ulrich and Wayne Brockbank - The HR Value Proposition Findings of Corporate Leadership Council on Strategic HRM in 101 companies and works of Tom Peter's, Charles Handy, Rossabeth Moss Kanter etc to establish the need and scope for change management and the role of Human Capital professionals in it. B.Global Human Capital Management Culture for Change Management: In this module show the film of South -West Airlines & Google followed by discussion. Session 3 & 4: Talent Acquisitions: Attracting talent for the digital workplace to improve organization effectiveness. In this module we cover the various methods for sourcing excellent candidates, learning how to shortlist C.V. s, Competency Profiling, Psychometric Tests and Behavior Event Interviews. We will hold practical sessions to tech the students how to hold effective interviews using Behaviourial Event Interviews and how to even give a powerful interview. Session 5&6 : Learning & Development for Organization Development & Train the Trainer: In this module we teach the students to learn: 1. The growth of the discipline of Learning and Development, Research on L & D, and how different companies in tthe Banks, Insurance, Hospitality, Airlines are using L & D to improve profits. 2. We will teach how to conduct training need analysis. 3. We will teach how to create course learning objectives. 4. We will teach how to develop content for training. 5. We will help the student to conduct the training programme and provide feedback. 6. We will teach how to use different technology, management games, role -plays,simulations etc to improve the effectiveness of training. 7. We will teach how to do training evaluation. Session 7 : Performance Management We will teach how to design and conduct : 1. Management by Objectives degree Multi-rater feedback. 3 Balance Score Card and how it should be implemented. 4. Various elements of Compensation structure. 3. Taxation angle in Compensation. 4. Broad banding of compensation structure. 5. Perks and its implications. 6. Deferred pay and Stock Options etc. Session 10: Global best practices in Talent Management & Employee Engagement for Organization Transformation: We will cover the various employee engagement strategies eing used by companies such as Infosys, TCS, Google, Starbucks, South west airlines etc. Session 11 : Organization Development & Change Management: Visioning and Organization transformation in the Volatile & Uncertain times & bringing Innovation at workplace 1.We teach the theory, diagnosis and practice in O.D. through a number of case -studies in the media industry, pesticide, industry, pharma -packaging industry. We teach Mckinsey s 7 S. 2. Research areas like Organization Health Survey using Appreciative Enquiry: The objective of the organization health survey using an appreciative enquiry is to diagnose the strengths, as against weaknesses & build on it. 3. Strategy Using Michel Porter s 5 Forces Theory. 4. Business Process Re-engineering for Organization Development. Session 12 : Latest Labour Laws and its application: We will cover in detail Shops and establishment Act, Factory Act, industrial Dispute Act, Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Acts etc and latest case laws in Dispute Management, Sexual Harassment etc. Methodology of teaching: 1. The entre course is taught using a workshop methodology using experiential methods such as Management Games, Role -Plays, Films, Case Discussion, Presentations, Simulations etc. 2. Students are given assignments to be completed in the place of work so that they internalize the learning. 3. Students are encouraged to read on every subject extensively and present. 4. Every student after the session has to make a power point presentation and send it to the faculty. 5. There are no examinations but assignments have to be completed.

Right to Admission & requirements: The management of Sri Ramakrishna International Institute of Management reserves the total & exclusive right to select or reject a candidate based on its own assessments. Post Graduate Certificates will be provided to students who attend a minimum of 75% attendance. If any participant defaults in payment or leaves mid way, SRIIOM clearly states that it will not give the certificate of completion. Amount paid as Course Fee is not refundable.
