2 The Business Development Center- BDC A Jordanian non-profit development organization, established in 2004, dedicated to accelerating local economic development.

3 BDC s Objectives Develop and promote Entrepreneurship. Build capacity and create employment opportunities for recent graduates from colleges and Universities Foster financial linkages between Entrepreneurs and financial resources Enhance competitiveness, sustainability and export capabilities of SMEs. 5 International Recognition BDC has been appointed as the only Arab representative on the Experts Board on Employment, Skills and Entrepreneurship Strategies in the Mediterranean created by OECD - Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

6 International Recognition BDC programs has been showcased as good practices in training on two levels with the European Training Foundation, as well as the Secretariat for the Union of the Mediterranean. BDC presented our programs in the Expert meeting on "Employment, Skills and Entrepreneurship Strategies in the Mediterranean in Barcelona on July 2012, and will present again in Brussels in November 2012

17 Monitoring & Evaluation M&E process applies to all department s programs Maharat uses the Canadian Monitoring and Evaluation model; the logical framework for tracking down each projects activities, setting indicators and generating outputs and outcomes. These are monitored on a quarterly basis and updated annually. BDC uses balanced score cards to ensure that all departments are aware of their targets and indicators. These are updated annually. BDC has the ISO 9001:2008 certificate which ensures that all our deliverables and services are of great quality every time.

21 I had the opportunity to review the actives and programs of the Center, and to meet a select group of beneficiaries of the services that it offers, I can confidently say that what the Center is doing represents a qualitative contribution to meeting the needs of the Jordanian market insofar as skill and human resources, thereby helping the youth and the national economy to achieve more progress and success.
