Working for CVS CVS Surveyors have a completely different way of working, we ensure our surveying talent can focus on securing the best possible outcome for our clients. Here s how: Traditionally a Surveyor would dedicate around 20% of their day to business development, but at CVS this is not required. We have a dedicated Sales Team, delivering well over 600 new instructions each and every month. Dedicated Client Account Managers keep our clients informed on the progress of the Appeal process or business rent instruction. They also ensure that any necessary documentation, such as a Lease or Rates Bill, are on file and will seek further instructions or authorisation, speeding up the process and avoiding unnecessary delays. CVS salaries are extremely competitive with a highly incentivised bonus scheme, 25 days holiday entitlement, Car Allowance and Pension Scheme as part of the package. 02

We have specialists in every field dealing with huge museums to the corner shop. Geographically tight, every day is different, whether it be inspection, negotiation or tribunal work, its fast paced with a track record of excellent results for our clients. 03

Non-discretionary and based on personal performance; bonuses are typically paid quarterly. Cases of champagne, cash bonuses and top up Christmas specials are just some of the ways in which we incentivise and reward our Surveyors to consistently provide excellent results. CVS Surveyors benefit from around the clock support from an in-house Support Team, who provide detailed analysis of comparable evidence and access to case law. Support is also provided in the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for Valuation Tribunals, Arbitration or Court. Not only do we have dedicated in-house Researchers, our Surveyors are provided with all the tools required to carry out the job. We have an extensive comparable property database and access to resources such as CoStar Suite and EGi, Prop-tech developments, such as our bespoke Surveyor Property Inspection App on a real time platform, ensure the flow of information is seamless. We are regulated by RICS and committed to your Continuing Professional Development. Not only do we pay annual professional subscription fees, we also host a number of CPD events throughout the year featuring leading experts. 7 Rating Surveyors A CVS Rating Surveyor has the primary goal of settling rating appeals and achieving the best possible result for our clients. We seek high calibre individuals to carry out inspections and work through the Check. Challenge. Appeal. process, securing accurate and fair business rates for our clients, whatever their property type. We look for Rating Surveyors with the following attributes: RICS or IRRV qualified Post-qualification experience in business rates Strong analytical and negotiation skills Demonstrable track record in inspecting premises and comparing and interpreting material facts and values Case work preparation and experience of Valuation Tribunal representation Ability to handle a high volume case load The role would be well suited to individuals with a Valuation Office Agency background.

9 Business Rent Surveyors A Business Rent Surveyor at CVS will undertake a host of responsibilities with the goal of securing the best possible rent and lease terms for our clients. We require Surveyors who have experience in a range of property types, who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act when carrying out rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears or as a Building Surveyor undertaking dilapidation claims. We look for Business Rent Surveyors with the following attributes; RICS qualified Prior experience of working on business rent instructions Strong analytical and negotiation skills Demonstrable track record in inspecting premises and comparing and interpreting material facts and values Ability to handle a high volume case load Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure the high standards of CVS are maintained For more senior appointments, dispute resolution is a must, with representations made to an Arbitrator, Independent Expert or Court.
