We bring remarkable businesses and individuals from across the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future. Through a unique network of corporate partners, we invest funding and expertise where we can achieve lasting impact. We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Communications and Marketing Officer to join our busy team. The successful post-holder will work closely with our Communications and Marketing Manager to raise LandAid s profile and build supporter engagement. They will lead on LandAid s digital channels, marketing and communications for a portfolio of LandAid supporter events and provide support to the wider team across all marketing and communications activities. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role, preferably in the charity sector. They will be creative, organised, a self-starter, a great team player, have enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a high-achieving team, and be passionate about our cause. 4 Job description Title: Digital Communications and Marketing Officer Reporting to: Communications and Marketing Manager Salary band: 26,000-30,000 pa Location: Central London, occasional travel as necessary Overall purpose To provide digital communications, marketing and brand support, working closely with the Communications and Marketing Manager to raise LandAid s profile and build supporter engagement. This includes: managing and developing LandAid s social media channels; day-to-day management and development of our website; leading on marketing and communications for LandAid and partner events; managing the delivery of our communications; developing content and stories and contributing to the development of LandAid s profile in the trade, local and national press. Main responsibilities Manage the delivery and development of LandAid s digital channels including communications, website and social media channels, including supporting at events with live communications Produce content that clearly demonstrates LandAid s mission and objectives for use across all platforms including digital, print and verbal Monitor, analyse and produce a report on website, social media and digital communications analytics on a monthly basis, use analytics to inform future activity Produce and deliver marketing plans for LandAid Midlands 10K and all partner events in conjunction with Events and Fundraising Officer Ensure the collection and communication of relevant project and case stories in line with campaign outlines Manage content library and ensure that permissions are adhered to Assist the Communications and Marketing Manager with the development of media library including film Keep abreast of developments in digital marketing, and suggest and champion new ways of working Respond to requests for information and materials from partner organisations or individuals. Ensure brand guidelines adhered to in all external communications produced by third parties

5 Monitor press coverage and maintain an archive of press cuttings. Attend regular meetings with PR agency. Assist Communications and Marketing Manager with general press activity including writing press releases Keep abreast of developments in the homelessness, general charity, and property sectors. Present and share data, opinions and news, and use to inform our work Carry out any roles and tasks as required to support the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Chief Executive, and the priorities of the charity Occasional travel outside of London and evening work relating to events Person specification Essential At least 1 years experience working in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the charity sector Demonstrable experience of producing content for digital platforms including web, social media and communications Demonstrable experience of managing a website, preferably using Drupal Excellent copy writing skills and strong editorial capabilities Ability to effectively engage and with external stakeholders including corporate partners, charities and consultants Strong attention to detail and good organisational and administrative skills Experience of managing a diverse workload and supporting colleagues High levels of IT literacy, including Office package, data management and websites Demonstrable interest in charity and homelessness sectors Excellent written and verbal communication Understanding of and commitment to LandAid s mission and values Desirable Educated to degree level in a relevant subject Experience using Drupal as a content management system

6 Experience of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop Ability to use and interpret Google Analytics to monitor web traffic Experience of producing multimedia content including photography and video Experience working in the homelessness sector Terms and conditions Hours: Holidays: Pension: 9:00am - 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week) 25 days per year (not including bank holidays) Employer pension contribution of 5% into a personal pension, this does not have to be matched by the employee.
