1 OnSite Core Training What is it? When is it? OnSite Core Training is a 3 day class being held in our training facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. This course will cover the basics of how to setup and use our system with a specific focus on core functionality to run your Class details can be found later in this document. January 10th 12th Wednesday 9:00 am 5:00 pm Thursday 9:00 am 5:00 pm Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm Who should attend? New OnSite customer who have yet to implement their systems. Even if you have a trainer coming to your shop, this course will help prepare you for implementing change and making your transition smoother. What is the cost? The cost is $350 per attendee. This covers your class fee, breakfast and lunch for three days, and snacks and beverages. What about travel? See the information later in this document for more details. Things are spread out in South Florida and there is NOT good public transportation or cab availability. We recommend renting a car for your stay or plan on using Uber. Page 1

2 Core Training Class Details Listed on the following pages is a description of what will be covered in the class. IN general, the goal of this class is to focus on THE core functionality you will need to implement your system. OnSite the Big Picture In this section, attendees will get an overview of the entire system and how it applies to their Tools For Better Procedures Procedures and policies are important in EVERY aspect to your business but especially when you are implementing an all new system. In this section, attendees will learn how to use simple tools to easily and efficiently create procedures needed. Employee Setup Focus here will be on understanding how to setup employees and their access rights. Chart Of Accounts and Accounting Setup Company Setup Vendor Setup Products Setup Understanding Designs Designs are a very important concept in the OnSite system and in this section, you will get a complete understanding of Designs, how they are setup, and how you can implement in your Page 2

3 Order Types Order Entry Order Types are another important concept in our system and will be covered in detail. Class time will be spent discussing your different options here and how they might apply to your Order entry is the most important process in the OnSite system because all other order processing derives off if it. In this section you will learn all order entry options as well as some recommended procedures for how to implement at your company. Order Processing Order processing feeds off of Order Entry and covers: Purchasing and inventory Receiving Production (Basics) Shipping Invoicing Accounting Receivables The Receivables cycle in OnSite begins when a sales order is invoicing and also includes receivable management, receiving customer payments and making deposits. Accounting Payables The Payables cycle in OnSite includes receiving and paying bills, writing checks, electronic transactions and more. Page 3

4 Travel Plans Airports There are 2 major airports located near our office: 1. Palm Beach International - PBI Only 10 minutes from our office but harder to get flights into. Hotels 2. Ft. Lauderdale International FLL Around 50 minutes from our office but you will have more selection for flights. There are many hotels located near our office. NOTE: if you want something fancier you can stay in a bed & breakfast or on the beach. For this option we would recommend looking online. Hotels listed below are business hotels within a few minutes of our office. Cabs can be called but are not readily available on the street like you will find in larger cities. We recommend renting a car which is inexpensive and readily available at both airports.
