1 Role Profile Role Title: Senior Treasury Analyst Division: Finance Department: Treasury Team: Treasury Role Identifiers: - Career Ladder: Professional - Level: Career Level 3 - Function: Financial Analysis, Audit and Tax - Discipline: Treasury Operations Main Purpose of Role Working alongside the Treasury Manager, identify, assess and manage Hyde s Treasury related liquidity and financial risks and support the business s objectives. Take responsibility for calculating Hyde s 80m+ annual interest budget and cashflow forecasting process. Ensure 2.1bn of loans and 300m of derivatives are correctly modelled in the Bloomberg system and the Brixx financial planning system. Ensure a robust control environment is in place by adhering to the Group Treasury Management Policy. Outputs & Accountabilities Produce financing cost budgets and forecasts as well as monthly variance reporting. In addition, ensure the cashflow forecasts include actuals and also accurate forecasting with variance commentary. Produce monthly cashflow forecasts, focussing on uploading actuals from bank statement and well as forecasting cash balances for the next 12+ months, ensuring forecasts are in line with the Liquidity projections from Property Analytics. 2 Calculate covenant compliance certificates on all loan facilities, based on latest management accounting and statutory accounting information. Take responsibility for covenant forecasting, tying in to the financial planning process to ensure loan covenants are met and that the organisation is expected to stay solvent at all times. Highlight any risks to the Treasurer. Ensure information covenants in loan agreements are met, to include review by internal audit on a regular basis. Ensure our Bloomberg system accurately reports Hyde s interest rate swaps/caps, and maintain the database of 2.5bn+ of swaps, loans and derivatives. Understand and use the Bloomberg system to model the impact of market movements. Oversee the production of the Regulator of Social Housing s quarterly return, including inputting of the cashflow actuals and forecast, and providing a commentary of variances. Assist with regulatory reporting, the Regulator of Social Housing s FFR, and the Standard and Poor s rating process. Input into the Investor Relations programme. Ensure Treasury data is correctly input and maintained in Brixx, the financial planning software. Obtain a good working knowledge of Brixx to assist the Financial Planning process. Provide cover for Brixx during busy times. Check and review all Treasury transaction data into the Treasury Management System (TMS). Oversee the production of monthly EMT treasury reporting. Work with the Treasury Manager and Treasury Operations Analyst to ensure loan drawdowns are executed in time to meet all liquidity requirements. Cover for the Treasury Manager and Treasury Operations Analyst during periods of absence. Any other reasonable treasury related tasks as set by the Treasurer or Treasury Manager. Page 2
