2 Participation Strategic Objective: Grow the sport of rowing through increased awareness of inclusive participation opportunities enabling sustained membership growth Promote participation opportunities Sustainable membership growth Recognise diversity and be inclusive 1. Work with schools to engage with students and parents 2. Participation focused articles in regular communication (existing and new) 3. Direct approach to volunteers 4. Engage with community organisations 1. Survey school rowing program leavers 2. Establish a school to club transition strategy (specific action plans at club level) 3. Promote positive case studies of difference membership types 4. Promote best practice membership model 5. Pursue nationally aligned and branded participation programs 1. Develop a diversity strategy 2. Review RT inclusion policy and implement actions 3. Promote good news stories 4. Provide inclusion and diversity training/education opportunities for clubs, schools and coaches 5. Raise awareness of specialist equipment that is available

3 Sport Development Strategic Objective: Development of all aspects of rowing Attract, retain and develop coaches and officials Recognise and reward volunteers Enable pathways for participation & development Support clubs, schools and rowing associations 1. 4 Facilities & Infrastructure Strategic Objective: Develop and maintain facilities and infrastructure to capitalise on opportunities Provide quality facilities and infrastructure Develop and expand sustainable commercial opportunities Utilise facilities to enhance and develop rowing 1. Maintain LBIRC at international standard 2. Improve facilities at Franklin 3. Equipment for state team 4. Ensure accessible infrastructure for para rowers 5. Apply for government and community grants 6. Support regional regattas with RT resources and equipment 1. Develop a business plan for full utilisation of LBI facilities 2. Corporate functions at LBIRC 3. Interstate and international training camps at LBIRC 4. Create broader community awareness of facilities through use of the media 1. Promote LBI for training camps, interstate and international regatta 2. Facilitate hire equipment to LBI visitors

5 Governance & Administration Strategic Objective: Ensure best practice governance in the provision of services to the rowing community Promote and implement best practice governance Continual improvement of administration practices and procedures Provide leadership and education to the rowing community 1. Develop a corporate governance manual 2. Adopt best practice procedures (include alignment with RA 3. Develop conflict of interest register 4. Develop integrity policy 5. 7 High Performance Strategic Objective: Support and enable high performance pathways and opportunities Contribute as a key partner in the management and delivery of the Tasmanian State Pathway Program Provide athletes with the opportunity to progress through the high performance pathway Strengthen high performance relationships 1. Deliver talent to the Pathway Program Talent Squad 1. Undertake testing in schools and clubs (dyno meter strength and endurance testing and monthly ergometer testing) 1. Support individuals 2. Provide equipment for interstate teams 3. Financial support for representatives
