2 INTRODUCTION Over 30% of construction projects in developing countries faced major problems during execution. Some of the problems include delays, cost overruns, site accidents, re-work, labour under-utilization, construction materials and energy wastages. These problems are quite common on sites with no proper functioning organizational strategy. sites are characterized by a diversity of stakeholders, a multitude of standards and regulations, spatial constraints between storage materials, management of flows, a high number of workers or tradesmen, constant changing of equipment and/or plants, and modifications to plans and technical specifications to meet the everchanging clients requirements. To address this complexity and challenge, this programme aims to provide a suitable tool for the management of construction projects, that can potentially enhance construction professionals abilities to make optimal decisions resulting to best outcomes between projects cost, time and quality constraints. This three-day program will benefit all construction professionals seeking a better understanding of today's complex construction management process. It will examine the roles, responsibilities and perspectives of the parties involved in the management. It will also provide an overview of life Cycle, Planning, and Appraisal Techniques, Financial Approvals, Contract, Dispute Resolution and Tools for effective techniques. OBJECTIVES The Programme is designed to give the participants an insight and expertise in to the following areas: Organization and Structure Contract and Dispute settling mechanism Resource ; Financial appraisal and Preparation of Feasibility reports Work break down structures & Developing and analyzing activity networks applications TARGET GROUP Executives, Managers and Senior Engineers.
