8 First, let s create a Practice Group graph focused on firm billing realization 1. From the Work Period Measures namespace, drag Periodic Billing Realization % (vs. Std) to the Default measure (y axis) box. 7

9 Next we ll move the legend so it is centered on the bottom 1. Select the background of the chart. 2. Open the Properties Box and choose the Legend property under Chart Annotations. 3. Select Bottom Middle. 4. Also format the Bill Real as % with 1 decimal place. 5. Center the graph(click background & center button) 6. Run the report 7. Note the changes 8

11 1. Let s add some texture to the graph by using a background preset. 2. Save the Report name it Source 10

13 The graph should resemble this now. With smooth edges, shaded background and a Title. Looking Good! Next, we ll create the Target report to display where we drill through the graph 12

14 Target Report 1. Create a new List report with the following fields: Dept, Year, Bill Atty Name, Title, Hours, Per Bill Real%, Per Bill, Per Collect. 2. Format the Hours, Per Bill & Per. Collect with 0 decimal places and Real% as a Percent with 1 decimal place. 3. Save as Target we ll use this later to drill into. 13

15 Drill Through: Linking the Source Report to Target 1. Open the Source Report. 2. Select the Gauge object and display the properties 3. Click the Drill Through Definitions property 14
