1 TEACHING PLAN FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT & TECHNOPRENEURSHIP UNIVERSITI TEKNIKAL MALAYSIA MELAKA HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT BPTT 1063 SEMESTER /2012 SESSION BPTT 1063: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (3,3+0) 1.0 LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of the subject, students should be able to: 1.1 Apply the roles and importance of human resource management as the best mechanism to be utilised by managers in and enhancing workers competency 1.2 Appreciate the importance of the relation of man and technology 1.3 Evaluate and propose a system to execute the multi-method to human resource management. 2.0 SYNOPSIS This course develops a practical and theoretical insight into current practices and contemporary developments in human resource management to develop competitive edge through effective technology and human resource management. Students will be able to identify and understand key HRM issues, including the recruitment and selection of staff, their training and development, and the manner in which their work performance can be assessed and rewarded, discipline problems and termination. It encompasses topics such as strategic management, talent, planning and leadership development will be based on technology development and employees. Students will be developed into smart employees not only able to understand and manage human resource but also have the ability to connect human and technology. 3.0 REFERENCES 1.
