3 Professional in Human Resources international PHRi Eligibility Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of professional-level experience in an HR position with a Master s degree or global equivalent, OR A minimum of 2 years of professional-level experience in an HR position with a Bachelor s degree or global equivalent, OR A minimum of 4 years of professional-level experience in an HR position with a high school diploma or global equivalent *Eligible to candidates outside of the United States. The Professional in Human Resources international (PHRi ) is a global, competency-based credential that is designed to validate professional-level core HR knowledge and skills. The credential demonstrates mastery of generally accepted technical and operational HR principles. Independent of geographic region, the credential complements local HR practices. Through demonstrated knowledge, the credential enhances the credibility of HR professionals and the organizations they serve. 3

4 Pricing Exam Prep Class Fee: N150, Study Pack (Optional): 550 USD (or Naira equivalent) This covers exam prep materials, online access to quizzes, flash cards and case studies. Exam Application Fee: 495 USD *All exam fees include a nonrefundable 100 USD application fee. Certification Cycle All Certifications are valid for three years. Recertification is required every three years through demonstrated professional development or retaking the exam. *Earn 60 recertification credit hours OR retake exam. Exam Format and Length Computer-based Testing (CBT) 170 questions (145 scored, 25 pre-test) 3 hours 15 minutes in length *CBT in Nigeria is currently suspended. Only Paper based Testing is available 4

The Senior Professional in Human Resources international (SPHRi ) is a global, competency-based credential that is designed to validate professional-level core HR knowledge and skills. The credential demonstrates mastery of generally accepted HR principles in strategy, policy development and service delivery. 7 Global Professional in Human Resources GPHR Eligibility Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of global experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master s degree or higher, OR A minimum of 3 years of experience (with 2 of the 3 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor s degree, OR A minimum of 4 years of experience (with 2 of the 4 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with less than a Bachelor s degree The Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR ) is a global, competency-based credential that is designed to validate the skills and knowledge of an HR professional who operates in a global marketplace. The credential demonstrates the mastery of crossborder HR responsibilities to include strategies of globalization, development of HR policies and initiatives that support organizational global growth and employer retention and creation of organizational programs, processes and tools that achieve worldwide business goals. 7

9 Important Information The test windows no longer apply to all HRCI certification exams. Now you can sit for the exams all year round. However, due to existing administrative issues between Prometric and their Nigerian Partner, the HRCI exams in Nigeria are still paper-based and not computer-based. In addition, Nigerian based test takers have only 2 test windows in a year.
