Some of our roles are for one year, at entry level, while our higher level apprenticeships can last up to four years. We have a wide range of opportunities available. So why choose to do an apprenticeship with us? As an apprentice you ll be given the chance to learn your craft while you work. This means you ll build up valuable on-the-job experience, knowledge and skills for life, gain nationally recognised qualifications and all the while earn a competitive salary. You ll be doing a real job, showcasing all that you have to offer. So if you impress us who knows where you could end up!

3 The benefits of choosing an apprenticeship * compared to staying on in education: An apprenticeship with Home Group You ll work for around three years gaining valuable technical and on-the-job experience. At the same time you ll be supported to achieve a professional qualification with paid time out of work to study. We cover the costs of your qualification and pay you a competitive wage - so you ll be financially stable when you begin your career. You don t need a work placement as you re already doing a real job in which you ll be gaining work related skills, building a professional network and in a position to impress and achieve your future goals! If you impress, you re in the best position to secure job roles that become available at Home Group. 80% of our apprentices continue their careers with us when their apprenticeship ends. You ll have 3 years of experience under your belt. You ll be home grown and have already demonstrated your suitability for our roles. If you make your mark you ll move onto bigger and better things! Going to university You ll study for three to four years achieving a professional qualification. You ll pay fees up to 9,000 per year and likely leave with a lot of debt. It may be difficult to find work placements if you have no relevant experience. You ll be competing for a small pool of jobs with other recent graduates who are all trying to get their foot in the door with a brilliant employer like Home Group! You ll likely start your career at an entry level role or graduate traineeship. Without much experience you may find it difficult to stand out. *(in this case one of our higher level roles)

4 About our apprenticeships Are you a people person who just loves supporting others, a budding grand designer or technical wizard? At Home Group we ve got lots of apprenticeships to help you turn your passion into a rewarding career. A great alternative to education or a route into a new career path, apprenticeships at Home Group allow you to gain a work-based professional qualification relevant to your chosen profession. You ll be earning whilst you learn with no tuition fees working alongside experienced and passionate colleagues. What qualifications can I achieve? Depending on what apprenticeship you take you can expect to achieve; Apprenticeship level: Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 and 5 (combined) Level 6 This is equivalent to: GCSE (5 x A-C) A Level HND/Foundation Degree Degree Apprenticeship durations will vary from one to four years, depending on the subject and level of qualifications on entry. Remember,apprenticeships at Home Group are open to all age groups; our youngest apprentice is 17 and our oldest is 61 you simply need to meet the entry requirements. What apprenticeships are available? We have loads of apprenticeships available and are creating new ones all the time to help us further invest in our future and deliver our ambitious strategy. 6 How you will learn We want you to achieve your big dreams and get the most out of your apprenticeship, so you ll get loads of support and guidance working alongside subject experts who have a wealth of experience to share. A lot of your learning will take place on the job such as e-learning and job shadowing. You ll also get paid time away from your day job to study and complete your portfolio of work. There are lots of additional development opportunities too if you want to progress even further with us!
