2 JOB PURPOSE The Fundraising Coordinator (Data) works in conjunction with the National Fundraising Manager (NFM) and the Fundraising Coordinator (Customer Service) to ensure that the business operations of the Fundraising department are run effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Management Database support in regards to all fundraising activities including Quarterly Appeal Campaigns, Regular Giving Program, Bequest Program and Stewardship Program. Conduct Fundraising Database analysis as directed by the National Fundraising Manager and make recommendations for analysis and strategy. Database set-up and maintenance. Provide recommendations in the selection of mailing lists from the Fundraising Database as directed by the National Fundraising Manager. Process donations, raffle tickets, banking, receipting and thank you letters. Regular and end-of-month reporting. Filing and storage of donation paperwork. Process and update database with returned mail. Creating campaign and Donor Selection. Timely provision of reporting requested by the National Fundraising Manager. Liaise as required with Accounts and Fundraising Team regarding donors and donation processes Train new staff in database processes related to their role. Become a subject matter expert in Technology One - Fundraising Module. Act as a back-up to the Fundraising Coordinator (Customer Service) as required. Stakeholder Engagement Assist with the coordination of stewardship activities such as invitations to events, KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Adhere to set timeframes in regards to all activities. 3 distribution of information packs, answering phone calls, etc. General Suggest strategies and actions for fundraising activities, based on knowledge and prior learnings, with a national focus. Contribute, as required, to the administration of projects and any other tasks as requested by the National Fundraising Manager. Keep general information for relevant projects up-to-date and provide timely feedback. Appropriate feedback on strategies and actions suggested. Records all emergencies, hazards, incidents and near misses using the Tickit reporting system. Participates fully in quality and continuous improvement activities and initiatives across the organisation. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement as an integral part of core practice. Supports and participates in relevant internal and external certification and auditing programmes. Other duties Undertake other duties commensurate with the position as reasonably directed. Key Selection Criteria Essential Database experience minimum of three years. Knowledge / experience in the fundraising / marketing sector. Experience or desire to work in the NFP sector. P a g e 4 5

5 Organisational Relationships The ability to become a subject matter expert in Technology One Fundraising Module. Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct fundraising analysis and for extraction. Communication Skills: The ability to liaise with all parts of the business, be a team player and the ability to work well with others is crucial. Attention to detail: ability to look at minute details to ensure that data is being recorded and stored properly. Logical thinking: ability to make recommendations in determining best practice procedures and policies in relations to Database Management. Problem Solving: ability to solve data problems as they arise. Reports to: Fundraising Manager Direct Reports: Nil Internal Relationships: Fundraising Coordinator (Customer Service), Business Services Manager, Business Analyst, and Able Australia Staff.
