1 Job Description Job Title: Department/Office: Reports to: Direct Reports: Schools Liaison Officer Skills and Employability Division Youth and Community Manager N/A Summary of main purpose of role To contribute and support the development and implementation of comprehensive information, advice and guidance (IAG) service on the Rathbone Training curriculum offer to all age groups across England. To develop and implement positive relationships with local schools, employers and associated organisations to sustain and maximise Rathbone Training presence at external events. To collaborate closely across internal departments to assist in the realisation of high quality engagement activities and student experiences promoting progression and recruitment opportunities. To work within the Community and Engagement team to build Rathbone s brand and increase the referrals onto Rathbone s programmes. The key outputs to this post will be: Increased engagement activities with schools/academies and other educational providers Improved transition and operational process implemented with potential students from regional schools/academies and other educational providers Consistent customer relationship practice is delivered and maintained which adds value and assists in the development Rathbone Training & Intraining as lead providers in the geographies in which they operate Key Responsibilities: 1. Contribute and support the co-ordination of all external schools liaison and recruitment-related partnership activities 2. Market and develop links with stakeholders to increase awareness of Rathbone and to support the Division to meet its occupancy targets

Work with a range of education providers and stakeholders to support the development and implementation of new partnership working to promote engagement or re-engagement of hard-to-reach learners. 4. Build strong relationships internal departments and realise and support tailored engagement experiences/activities for the transition, progression and recruitment of learners. 5. Work pro-actively with the Data team to contribute to the reporting of recruitment and conversion data and of applicants to inform future business and financial planning. 6. Maintain and promote an awareness of local and national labour market intelligence and trends to support progression into our programmes and apprenticeships. 7. Contribute to the achievement of a customer focused learner services model to provide an appropriate and responsive service to staff, learners and colleagues, including student advice, via attendance at monthly open day events, annual enrolment activities and external events. 8. Continuously update knowledge of current developments and best practice in the further education and training sector and associated IAG professional development 9. Work collaboratively and co-operatively to maintain effective relationships with others as appropriate, building vibrant networks that add value and assist in the enhancement and vocational development of the organisations. 10. Promote a positive image of Rathbone Training and the work of its operational teams 11. Attend team and other appropriate meetings as required 12. Participate in any training appropriate for the role which may require attending internal or external courses. 13. Fully comply with Rathbone s process 14. Use, access and update MIS data, including registers 15. Contribute to business planning, self-assessment, OFSTED visits and performance monitoring 16. 4 Person Specification Essential Desirable Method of assessment Qualifications / Training Level 3 (A Level, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent) or Above Level 2 qualification in Maths & English or equivalent IAG qualification or relevant experience. Evidence of continuous updating of skills and knowledge. Training/Qualification in customer Service Training/Qualification in IT Skills Experience Minimum of 1 years experience of Further Education Advice and guidance in an educational setting. Experience working in a school / external / customer liaison role focussing on building relationships. Experience of working with a CRM system to plan recruitment processes and performance reports Experience in presenting tailored presentations and workshops to a broad audience by effectively using a range of communication skills A high degree of self-motivation and drive with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Solid knowledge of academic levels, progression opportunities and career options available to young people. Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions. A proactive approach to deliver outstanding customer service both internally and externally. Professional communicator with excellent communication and relationship building skills. Ability to remain professional when dealing with people at all time. Ability to deliver to targets and manage own workload Excellent organisational and time management skills.
