6 Summary of Input 1. Support for mixing commercial/retail locations and employment centers/workplaces 2. Support for locating housing proximate to employment centers 3. Need and support for nontraditional office environments, such as coworking 4. Existing suburban business parks are retrofit opportunities 5. Support for a mix of development formats 6. New development should be designed to preserve green space, and to create inviting, walkable environments 7. Transportation connectivity (all modes) is an important consideration for workplace design. 8.
