And, we pride ourselves on being able to work seamlessly with your accountant, attorney and other advisors on estate and tax issues during times of change and transition. Our team-based approach ensures there is always someone available who understands your needs and is ready to help. 4 Meet the Professionals Kevin J. DeKrey, CFP Financial Planning Specialist First Vice President Financial Advisor Left to Right: Peter Hovey, Debi Hagen, Jane Sederquist, and Kevin DeKrey Kevin DeKrey, CFP, applies financial planning along with conciergelevel service to build customized plans designed to match the business and personal goals of The Red River Group clients. His more than 20 years experience as a Financial Advisor and his advanced credentials as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER allow him to identify and analyze the unique challenges that his clients face and to develop specific strategies to help mitigate taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. Kevin graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead with a Masters degree in Business Administration and earned his Bachelor s of Science degree in Business with a minor in Economics at North Dakota State University. He spent 11 years in banking, 8 of them as a commercial loan officer, before becoming a Financial Advisor in Kevin loves to play tennis and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do in He and his wife Connie have one daughter and live in Fargo, ND. 4 MORGAN STANLEY

Hovey Financial Planning Specialist Vice President Financial Advisor As a Vice President and Financial Planning Specialist with The Red River Group, Peter focuses on a client-centered, goal-based financial planning process. Using this model, he designs strategies that integrate and match his clients multiple financial and non-financial objectives through the varying stages of their lives. Peter is also deeply committed to providing his clients with the highest level of service as they navigate their financial lives. Peter graduated with a Bachelor s of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. After graduation, he joined Morgan Stanley and began to apply his analytical skills to helping people in the financial markets. In 2010, he and Kevin DeKrey saw an opportunity to combine their complementary skills and create a stronger foundation for their clients by establishing The Red River Group at Morgan Stanley. Peter resides in Fargo, ND but spends most of his free time at the lake with family and friends or pursuing his passion for adventure and travel. Debi Hagen Senior Client Service Associate As a Senior Client Service Associate, Debi brings 30 years of experience in financial services to the Group s clients. She provides first-class service to clients as well as caring support for the team. She is the first point of contact for all client questions and makes it her job to ensure answers and resolution are found and provided to each client s satisfaction. Debi appreciates that the Red River Group recognizes and calls upon the skills of each team member, enabling them to provide each client with the best possible service. Debi graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She and her husband Larry live on the Minnesota side of the river and have two grown daughters who are both still in the area. They spend as much time as possible at the lake with family and friends where they enjoy boating, fishing, biking, walking and anything that keeps them outdoors. Jane Sederquist Registered Associate Jane Sederquist brings her significant financial background to The Red River Group and its clients. Her past experience as a CPA gives her substantial financial problem solving skills and an ability to communicate clearly with clients about their finances. Jane functions as the Group s Registered Associate and is instrumental in the daily operations of the team. She executes unsolicited buy and sell orders, works on specific client projects and facilitates a multitude of operational and support requests. A former CPA, Jane joined Peat Marwick Mitchell after graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor s of Science degree in Accounting. She later worked as an Internal Auditor and Senior Financial Analyst with MSI Insurance before retiring to stay home and raise her three sons. She re-entered the workforce in 2011, choosing to join The Red River Group. Outside of work, Jane and her husband Dave enjoy biking, skiing and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
