1 Action plan adopted during the Sustainable development seminar organized jointly with the ILO and UNI Global Union Cameroon, Yaoundé, from 26 to 28 September 2011 Environmental Pillar Climate change and other aspects of environmental management Buildings Integrate sustainable criteria when designing and renovating buildings ENERGY and other environmental impacts : reduce consumption and improve resource utilization 1. Install solar energy equipment 2. Carry out lobbying as a sector or as an operator to help policymakers to create appropriate regulation (support of PAPU required) 5. Establish objectives for recruitment and promotion based on equivalent skills and formalize this objective in staff regulations, company agreement, in particular in job with responsibility. 2. Set up an anticorruption policy and fight against money laundering (use OFAC Office of Foreign Assets Control list systematically for large sums of money) Responsible purchasing Implement a responsible purchasing policy 1. Integrate sustainable development in the purchasing procedures Create a training course for employees Add to basic criteria (quality, price) about sustainable development, in particular on the approach of the subcontractor / supplier in terms of sustainability Give priority to local purchasing when possible Prefer buying products that have less impact on environment (e.g. : less energy consumption, less impact on biodiversity, less waste)
