2 MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN IntoWork Australia, the trading name for Inner Northern Group Ltd (INGT Ltd), has shown incredible growth over the past 30 years. Originally operating in Melbourne s inner north, founded by what is now the Moreland, Darebin and Yarra councils, the Group now services Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. Proudly a national group of companies with over 700 staff providing excellence in workforce participation and community solutions, IntoWork Australia holds contracts with government and corporate businesses across the country. IntoWork Australia is the largest employer of apprentices and trainees of its type in Australia. A multi-state provider of training, and a significant provider of short term and permanent placements in blue and white collar industries, IntoWork Australia prides itself in delivering workforce solutions to industry and career pathways to individuals across the country. The Strategic Plan outlines IntoWork Australia s future plans to continue this work whilst also increasingly providing a mix of key community and corporate solutions. At its core IntoWork Australia has six values: Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork and Partnerships, Respect and Inclusion, Innovation, Achievement, and Quality. These values provide the foundation of quality service delivery and synergy across the Group. IntoWork Australia is committed to making a positive difference to increasing numbers of individuals and communities through a values-based commercial focus which ensures IntoWork Australia s ongoing viability and sustainability. IntoWork Australia remains deeply committed to quality and expanding its scope and geographic reach whilst still acknowledging its roots. We continue to financially support the Inner North Community Foundation which in turn assists in the funding of local pre-employment initiatives. The strategic direction outlined will continue to evolve with exciting developments in the years to come. Corporate service provision to community organisations. Direct service provision of community services to provide employment and training opportunities. Partnerships with community organisations to address their training and employment needs. Support employment pathway initiatives, directly or indirectly, in communities in which we operate. 5 ABOUT INTOWORK AUSTRALIA IntoWork Australia is a national group of companies providing specialist recruitment, career guidance, employment, mentoring, registered training, business advice and support services to individuals and the community. IntoWork Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to providing employment, training and community solutions in communities across the country. Founded 30 years ago, IntoWork Australia was initially focused on apprenticeship solutions in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. Showing its growth and success, IntoWork Australia has expanded its presence nationally, specialising in employment, training, recruitment, corporate and community solutions to a diverse range of individuals, businesses and industries. There are currently a total of ten companies directly under the IntoWork Australia banner - AGA, CTC, Devereux Recruitment, Institute of and Further Education (itfe), Interact Australia, MAS National, MRAEL, Rogan Family Care, Stockdale Personnel and Work &. A number of these companies also have subsidiaries, further enhancing the valuable services being provided across the country. IntoWork Australia is also the principal supporter of the Inner North Community Foundation. With a primary focus of placing people into employment, IntoWork Australia thrives at addressing skill and workforce shortages in the community and offers guidance to individuals in finding the right career pathway. IntoWork Australia is a dynamic organisation and trusted partner providing contracted services on behalf of Commonwealth, state and local governments. This organisation is nationally recognised as a reliable source for delivering expert services directly with employers, industry and individuals on a fee for service basis. As IntoWork Australia has evolved, so has the range of services. Making a positive difference to the people and communities we work with, through our integrated services and business expertise. Our core business includes the following. Linking employers with the most suitable apprentices and trainees. Career guidance and support. Apprenticeship support network services. Government support programs. programs. Labour hire, temporary and permanent recruitment solutions. Advice and support for businesses. Community services. Partnerships with community organisations. IntoWork Australia is focused on understanding the needs of the community, industry and businesses and supporting the communities in which we operate, particularly through a range of pre-employment initiatives. 6 OUR BUSINESSES AGA has more than 30 years experience in training people and placing them into employment, with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. AGA partners with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria. CTC provides employment and recruitment services within Queensland. CTC excels at formulating a unique talent strategy to move businesses forward. CTC also provides transition programs for homeless and at risk young people. Devereux Recruitment is a boutique recruitment agency in Melbourne supplying temporary and permanent staff to corporate, healthcare and allied health clients. Institute of and Further Education (itfe) was established in 1998 and is a Registered Organisation operating in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Over 10 campuses, itfe delivers short course and certificate level qualifications along with customised training packages to corporate customers around Australia. Interact Australia is a values based not-for-profit organisation, inspiring action and change for people with disabilities in the community since Creating connections to achieve social inclusion and equality throughout Victoria and Queensland, Interact delivers community and employment related services as a Disability Employment Service provider and a registered service provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). 7 MAS National provides apprenticeship support services to employers and individuals across Australia. Assisting small businesses in Tasmania through & Employment and delivering the MAS Experience across three states as an Apprenticeship Network Provider. MAS National also provides WorkSafe Consulting services within Victoria. MRAEL is a Registered Organisation, Senior Vocational College and an Apprenticeship Network Provider in Queensland. Providing apprenticeship and traineeship services for more than 30 years, MRAEL has employed and managed over 13,000 apprentices and trainees. Rogan Family Care provides in home care for children and the aged, along with placing educators in long day care centres and kindergartens. For over 20 years, Rogan Family Care has developed a reputation for sourcing professional, experienced candidates and providing excellent service to families and clients. Stockdale Personnel has been providing high quality recruitment services to the Print, Warehouse, Logistics, Manufacturing and Trade sectors for 15 years in Melbourne and Sydney. Work & provides apprenticeship and traineeship services, short term placements, professional recruitment services and is a Registered Organisation. 8 Communities IntoWork Australia OUR EMPLOYEES IntoWork Australia excels in employing people that understand community services as well as the employment, recruitment and training needs of individuals and businesses. We are a well-respected industry leader whose vast range of services are flexible and responsive and will continue to evolve based on industry changes and needs. The ship Team, comprising the s from each business, meets monthly to explore new business opportunities and operational synergies. They look for ways to transfer knowledge, collaborate and provide support to each other across the Group, unified by our core values and commitment to social responsibility. The Corporate Shared Services Team provides corporate level support to all Group businesses in Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Asset Management, Quality and Risk, Information Technology and Development. As we continue to take on new employees as a result of our growing businesses, this Strategic Plan will provide the framework that will guide IntoWork Australia over the next three years building on a strong foundation and a team of skilled professionals.
