4 24 TH SEPTEMBER 2013 A LANDMARK DAY IN OUR JOURNEY This was a landmark day for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), General Electric (GE) and Saudi Aramco as it saw the launch of the first all women business process services & IT centre in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The pioneering venture harnesses the excellence of the three organizations to train and develop professional capabilities in Saudi women, and create new employment opportunities in the Kingdom. Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry, KSA, HRH Prince Saud Bin Khalid, Deputy Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and senior executives from TCS, GE, and Saudi Aramco. 6 7

This supports the strategy of the government, which aims to create employment opportunities for women. The female employees will have to keep raising the bar of excellence to foster growth and success. 8 TRAINING & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT HR is one of the key elements for the growth of our centre, wherein our processes are very strong and our mechanism is efficient and appreciative, while never forgetting that people come first. We were 20 when we started and now we are fast growing. All this has been made possible through our rigorous training programs. I enjoy working with TCS from the day I joined. They offer a thorough training to prepare you for your role. I am all for knowledge acquisition and I went to the client location to understand the process. It was a great experience for me. I m glad to be working with TCS and providing service to GE. The work environment here is positive and professional. I can see my future career with TCS and I know it s a really good place for my professional growth. I am very proud and happy to have 16 different nationalities working together in the same place, we share our cultures and traditions and we respect each other and this is what makes TCS special. I look forward to a long and fruitful association with TCS as it allows me to be creative, work independently and make a difference. Working with this organization has certainly reinforced my commitment to what we are trying to accomplish, thereby contributing to maintaining customer s leading role in the local telecom industry, utilizing TCS s vast knowledge in the industry due to its global presence. 9 INFRASTRUCTURE I joined TCS two years ago as a team member in customer relations management. In these 2 years in TCS, I have learned efficiency, professionalism and achieved my ambition to be what I am today. Being a part of TCS family has a huge impact on my career, it gave me the opportunity to work with an important customer in Saudi Arabia. I came up the ladder as a team leader, and now working in a multinational company with people from different ethnicity that has boosted my learning experience not only as a professional but as a person as well
