How to Register Advance registration for all training programs is necessary and should be made as early as possible to reserve space. To register by phone, or for more information about course content, please call (888) Or, if you prefer, simply register by fax at (614) , or by mail to our office using the address on the back of this booklet. Please print the program name and starting date, and your company s name and phone number along with the names of the participants you d like to register. Registration is limited to ensure participants receive proper attention. Registration by at: training@hrxperts.org. We encourage you to enroll early to avoid disappointment and to take advantage of additional discounts described below, available only to members. Member Discounts Take advantage of these special discounts! Members who register three or more participants for the same program at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the program will receive a 5% Group Discount. Members whose payment is received in our office at least fourteen days in advance of the program start date will receive a 5% Earlybird Discount. You can receive both discounts by paying for your group so that your remittance is received by the Earlybird date. Cancellation Policy Because definite commitments must be made to instructors, program participants, caterers and others, cancellations for a training credit or refund will be accepted if made in writing 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Please feel free to make appropriate substitutions at any time prior to the start of the program. We must bill no shows and late cancellations at the full program price. In the event that the Association must cancel a program, we will notify all participants promptly and, if prepaid, offer your choice of a full refund or training credit. SPHR/PHR/GPHR Recertification Credits Employers Resource Association is pleased and proud to announce that many of our programs have been approved for credit toward recertification of your SPHR/PHR/GPHR credential from HRCI. Now is your opportunity to get recertification credit and broaden your horizons as most programs have been accepted. Classes of interest that may have not afforded you credit toward recertification now qualify for credit. Each individual flyer will be marked with the appropriate number of recertification credits.

It is designed to introduce supervisors to the dynamic nature of their new role and to the fundamental skills necessary to be immediately effective in that role. 4 PAGE 6 PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Program This program has a pass rate of 82% for SPHR and 92% for PHR, well above the national averages of 58% and 67% respectively. The use of this seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit. This 11-week program is designed for one thing: To help prepare you to pass the PHR or SPHR national certification examination. Participants receive the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Learning System. The format will be blended learning. Participants receive the most benefit by completing program reading and session pre-work each week and taking the pre-tests. Participants should then be prepared with questions for instructors. Instructors will lead sessions in a way that will reinforce SHRM Learning System information to increase the likelihood of passing the national certification examination. Session post-tests will also be administered. Modules include: Strategic Management Workforce Planning and Employment Human Resource Development Total Rewards Employee and Labor Relations Risk Management (Safety, Health, Security) Who Should Attend? Any HR professional planning on taking the PHR/SPHR exam or who wants to stay current on HR strategy. Learning Objectives:. Navigate with Word 2007 Create basic documents Develop understanding of basic editing functionality Format basic text, paragraphs and tables Format page layouts Microsoft Office Excel Level 2 This program is designed to delve deeper into Microsoft Office Excel. Learning Objectives: Create moderate calculations with the Excel spreadsheet environment Develop understanding of structure within the Excel spreadsheet environment Develop understanding of Conditional formatting Develop and modify charts Suite Prices* Members: $ Nonmembers: $ *Suites are any four classes for the same participant, paid for in advance. *Each class is four hours in length.
