Our campuses are alive with the energy of around 30,000 students, including 3,000 international students from 80 countries. Our campuses - a great working environment We have outstanding modern campuses and facilities. We have invested millions of pounds in the last 10 years on teaching and learning facilities and plan more developments to meet the needs of our staff and students over the next few years. Our City Campus is next to Sheffield s train and coach stations and has easy access to the M1. It is in the heart of the city centre, next to shopping areas, art galleries, theatres, cinemas bars, cafés new hotels and other tourist attractions. There is plenty to do and see in your lunch break or after work. Our Collegiate Crescent Campus is a leafy oasis set in Victorian landscaped gardens off Ecclesall Road, which is bustling with shops, bars and cafés. Both campuses have restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. Many staff use these open space areas for work meetings, as well as just to relax. Facilities ready for the future We invest for success, with state-of-the-art learning and IT. Recent developments include the multi-million pound Furnival Building and Arundel Building, which both opened in 2008 on City Campus. This sort of investment ensures our students and staff have the tools to tackle the present and build the future, whatever their specialist area.
