Provide leading expert support to existing and upcoming internal business applications 2. Provide business support to all Zamtel s Telecom business units (Commercial, Finance, HR, Technical and Legal) to understand the business needs and translate them into System Requirements Specifications (SRSs) 3. Continuously analyse and improve existing Business Support Systems to ensure the highest level of integrity and support towards the business 4. Expected to work closely with the Systems Architect on the software architecture of the applications and systems within the team JOB SPECIFICATION Human Resources (2016) Page 1 of 6

2 Minimum Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent Professional Registration Information Communication Technology Society of Zambia(ICTSZ) or any other recognised body Minimum Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in a computing environment as administrator or Software Developer level Minimum of 3 years in designing, improving and documenting business processes Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Support Systems front end applications Key Knowledge Working knowledge of ITIL processes Knowledge of COBIT5 Framework Knowledge of telecommunications-related best practices Java development such as J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Java Script Web Development such as C#,.NET, ASP.NET, XML, HTML, PHP, XSLT, Content Management. System Analysis Provide business support to all Zamtel s business units to understand the business needs and translate them into System Requirements Specifications Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability Draw specific proposals for modified or replacement systems Present proposals to internal clients Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction Oversee the implementation of a new system Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI s) Accuracy of data analysis WEIGHTING 25 Human Resources (2016) Page 3 of 6

4 Liase closely with IT Infrastructure Team to provide expert support and systems management for assigned systems and applications within agreed SLAs Involvement in testing new products, services and technologies.
