2 INTRODUCTION Attributes and Followership are the highlights in our group assignment. Attributes studied stage model which are the manager tries to determine the cause of the poor performance and the manager tries to select an appropriate response to correct the problem. And as the manager give an attribution to his/her follower, the follower will take the initiative to deal with problems and appreciate his/her manager efforts to make necessary changes by inceasing his/her perfomance and give a contribution to the company. Based from Attributes and Followership Theory our group did a research about The manager's role in the effectiveness and productivity of subordinates in Cikarang. NARRATIVE HOKA HOKA BENTO JABABEKA CIKARANG On Thursday, October nd 04, we went to Hoka-Hoka Bento Jababeka Cikarang that just open recently at the end of the September, 04. Hoka-Hoka Bento is Japanese fast food restaurant that offer healthy, wide variety, and hygienic Japanese food that is affordable. Hoka-Hoka Bento also develop a cozy restaurant atmosphere. These principal make Hoka Hoka Bento the biggest Japanese Fast Food concept s restaurant in Indonesia.

3 When we arrived in Hoka Hoka Bento Jababeka, we were asking the employee if the manager is in the place and able to spend a few of his time with us. The employees then went to the backdoor and not long after that, A man with a fine suit came to us. He introduced himself as the supervisor of Hoka Hoka Bento and asked us politely what can he do for us. Then, we explain our final assigment of Leadership that we need to find a manager in Cikarang and give a questionnaire about Attributes and Followership. Mr. Agung Kristianto as the supervisor then agreed to answer our questions. After answering our questionnaire, we all thanked to him and also took a picture with him.

4 PIZZA HUT DELIVERY PASIMAL JABABEKA CIKARANG The second place that we went was Pizza Hut Delivery (PHD) that located in Pasimal Jababeka Cikarang. Pizza Hut knows pizza like nobody else.they ve been providing a menu for family fun in Indonesia, with an exciting range of pizzas, pastas, toppings, sides and desserts. They ve even developed a special children s menu to make sure there s something to suit everyone. The Pizza Hut menu evolves over time, meaning you can always find your favourites, plus innovative new toppings, side dishes and desserts. Remember, you can also collect from any Pizza Hut location. Just use the collection section to find your nearest Hut and order online. You can choose when you want to pick up your pizza, so it s made to order at your convenience. When we arrived, we asked the employees if the manager is in the place and able to spend a few of his time with us. The employee then said that the manager was still outside the office and asked us if we want, he could call or text his manager. We agreed and decide to wait for about 5 minutes.

5 Finally, the manager arrived and welcome us to her office. The manager turned out to be very attractive and wise named Miss Valent. After we explain why we came, she agreed to answer the questionnaire from us. At the end of the time, we thanked to her for her time and also took a picture with her and the employee. 4

6 YOKO BENTO PASIMAL JABABEKA CIKARANG The last place that we went was Yoko Bento that located in Pasimal Jababeka Cikarang. Yokobento Japanese Food Restaurant & Fried Chicken, is a blend of Japanese and American cuisine. Yokobento providing Japanese cuisine that is processed in accordance with the tastes of the tongue of Indonesia. Choice of materials of high quality and Hygienic Halal, then processed by experts who are experienced restaurant for a dozen years in the field, resulting in a very high quality cuisine and tasteful, with a very affordable price by the whole society. When we arrived, we directly met mr. Tonni as the leader in Yoko Bento Jababeka Cikarang in a place. We politely asked him if he can be able to spend his time to answer the questionnaire from us. 5

7 He agreed and while we were waiting for him, we order some foods for takeaway. Mr. Tonni is a welcome and fine leader, he told us about his experience and gave us some advice to be a good leader, that we need to get involved not only giving an order. We are chatting a while and finally after Mr.Tonni finished we thanked him and also took a picture with him. 6

Therefore, when inserted into the Category Percentage : Percentage Category Good 76 % - 00 % Enough 56 % - 75 % Not Good 40 % - 55 % Bad Less than 40 % Then, the manager's role in the effectiveness and productivity of employees in Cikarang is Good. 9
