1 Primary Care Workforce Centre Delivery Plan 20/2019 to 20 Objective Key Milestones Outcomes Alignment to other Boards/Groups 1.Embed the revised Primary Care Workforce Centre operating model, working together with partners to align the delivery plan to Dorset s transformation programmes, ensuring added value and avoiding duplication. Develop the delivery plan, involving key partners and gain a greater understanding of existing work streams. Formalise relationships between the PCWC and the Leading and Working Differently (LWD) portfolio and other STP portfolios, boards and groups. Develop key performance indicators for the PCWC. Strengthen our relationship with our stakeholders, connecting locally and through membership of the Health Education England South Board via LWD SRO/Delivery Director. Positive improvement in the retention, attraction, recruitment and development of the primary care workforce in Dorset Dorset Workforce Action Board, Integrated Community and Primary Care Services, One Acute Network, Prevention at Scale, Deputy Directors, Health Education England, Directors of Nursing, Local Medical Councils Review and update the PCWC terms of reference ahead of formal sign off at the November 20 PCWC Partnership Board. Work with system partners to review and evolve the existing delivery/ task and finish groups in the context of the workforce delivery plan. Undertake a stakeholder map aligned to implementation of the operating model and delivery plan. Develop an annual report.

13 Primary Care Workforce Scorecard To monitor the impact the Primary Care Workforce Centre will develop a workforce scorecard for primary care. The scorecard will align with similar work at a system-wide level to ensure consistency. This will require the development of a local data sharing arrangement with GP practices across Dorset as the data required is not currently capture through existing channels. The aspiration is for the scorecard to include: Planned substantive headcount/fte Actual substantive headcount/fte Staff turnover Vacancy rates Average time to recruit Skill mix across GP practices Retention of students & trainees (from local health/medicine related education programmes) Frequency of reporting - Quarterly
