2 B. JOB REQUIREMENTS Key Result Area 1 Manage Event & Fundraising Volunteers Plan volunteer requirements to deliver event requirements. Manage volunteer role allocations for each event/activity. Prepare & manage the volunteer recruitment strategy, recruiting the required volunteers for each event role allocation. Prepare, update & manage all volunteer information required, including, position descriptions & training. Manage volunteer training. Manage event day volunteers. Prepare volunteer budget for each event/activity. Develop & establish volunteer program in Tasmania Event volunteer requirements are planned. Volunteer role allocation is completed. Successful recruitment of the required number of volunteers. All event volunteer information is prepared. Successful volunteer training. Event is successfully delivered. Budgets finalised. Successful volunteer program in Tasmania 2

3 Key Result Area 2 Relationship Management Maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Compliance with strategies to ensure seamless communication across the organisation. Manage volunteer issues resolution. Participate delivering the volunteer reward & recognition program. Participate & represent SMS in the effective delivery of mutually beneficial partnerships, networks and relationships to support the program and organisation objectives both internal and external Model self-awareness, self-management and social awareness in communications, problem solving & conflict resolution. Program goals and objectives are achieved / maximised Communication plans are delivered Successful issue resolution. Successful reward & recognition program delivery. Program objectives and goals achieved Key Result Area 3 Administration Manage volunteer Salesforce requirements Volunteer Procedure Manuals are developed & updated Prepare event reports Arrange and attend meetings as required by the program and MSL Ensure project filing and records are comprehensive and up to date Successful implementation & ongoing development of Salesforce requirements Manuals are current Reports are completed Meeting are conducted and attended Comprehensive records enabling ease of program review, transition and delivery. 3

Selection Criteria Essential: Relevant tertiary education in volunteer management, event management, human resources, or community development. A minimum of 3-years experience working with volunteers and/or in events Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Pragmatic, assertive, organised and demonstrates sound judgment. Resilient, with proven ability to adapt style and approach to suit varying situations. High levels of computer literacy in using a range of Office computer packages Data base management experience 4
