The tender must be submitted in three cover system. Subject and Tender Number should be clearly written on three covers. (1) E.M.D. + Tender Fee cover (Cover size 11 x5 ) (2) Technical Bid cover (Cover size 15 x5 ) (3) Price Bid cover (Cover size 11 x5 ) Also clearly mention on the covers. D.D. for payment of tender fee & Demand Draft of EMD must be placed in the cover super scribing Tender fee & EMD along with requisite documents as mentioned in the EMD condition. EMD +Tender FEE both should be kept in one separate cover & should be submitted with Technical Bid & Price Bid Covers. The tender documents are to be submitted in two parts in duplicate namely Technical bid(part-i) with all enclosures of the tender documents and Price Bid (Part-II) in separate covers super scribing the respective covers accordingly along with the tender number. 1. TECHNICAL BID: The technical bid shall comprise of all the technical details of the stores/materials offered in accordance with the Corporation specification guaranteed technical particulars and conditions, etc; except THE PRICE BID which should be quoted separately and should be submitted separately in the PRICE BID COVER. The Technical Bid shall be opened at 3=30 PM (15.30 Hrs) on Due date (If possible), in the presence of those tenderer who wish to be present. If the Authorized Representative is likely to be present then he must submit the authorization letter of the representing company at the time of opening of Bids and this is

3 compulsory. Only One Authorized Representative shall be allowed. Please note that the required documents should be invariably submitted with tender copy and tender without documents are liable to be ignored. 2. PRICE BID: The Price Bid must be submitted strictly as per Schedule-B and shall be submitted in the separate envelope (dully sealed) super scribed PRICE BID with subject & tender No. and shall be submitted simultaneously with the Technical Bid. The time and date for opening of the Price Bid shall be determined by the Corporation and shell be communicated to the tendering firms after technical bids are analyzed and the intimation will be sent only to the technically qualified tenderness. The TECHNICAL and PRICE Bids shall contain adequate cross-reference wherever necessary to ensure clear and proper co-relation of the two bids without ambiguities whatsoever. Any technical questions information and clarifications that may be required pertaining to this Tender should be referred to the CHIEF ENGINEER, DHUVARAN, TPS CHIEF ENGR reserves the right to reject any OR all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. Tenders duly filled must be accompanied by the following documents. 1. Tenderer should down load the tender documents from the website and submit the same as per instruction therein by RPAD / Speed post only. 2. The tenders duly filled in sealed covers will be received by RPAD/Speed Post at the office of CHIEF ENGINEER, GSECL, TPS, DHUVARAN Up to hrs ON Due date and will be opened at hrs on the same day (if possible) in the presence of bidders who wish to remain present. 3. Tenderer should quote the reference of payment of EMD & Tender Fee i.e. DD No. & Date for EMD PAID & DD No. & Date for Tender Fee on cover page of technical Bid otherwise Bid will not be considered for opening. Tenderer should also certify as "unconditional tender" on tender cover it self. 4. Gujarat State Electricity Corporation reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all the Tender without assigning any reasons thereof. 5. The tender received after time and date specified in the tender notice will not be accepted. Once the offer Submitted by the Contractor before due date of submission, the bidder will not be allowed to submit revised/additional/modified offer after opening of Technical Bid. 6. 7 Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited :Dhuvaran Thermal Power Station Schedule A Subject: INSTALLATION OF PHOTO COPIER MACHINES ON RATE CONTRACT BASIS FOR TWO YEARS WITH OPERATOR AND PAPER AT GSECL DHUVARAN ADM BUILDING & CCPP PLANT DHUVARAN TPS TERMS & CONDITIONS 01. You have to install New Xerox Machines at our Administrative officer premises and CCPP Plant with operation. Operator charges will not be paid extra by GSECL. 02. GSECL will provide space with power at one point free of cost. 03. You have to maintain register in which size wise quantity of Xerox carried out during the day & month with sign of in charge officer for machine. You have to submit the bill according to the sizes of copies carried out during month. Day to day starting and end reading is to be got verified by concerned officer. 04. You have to use your own following materials for relevant Xerox work at no cost to GSECL as per our requirement. a. White paper of JK Easy Copier of 70 GSM map litho. b. Black Ink/Toner c. Spares & consumables. d. Service the machine at regular interval with required spares & consumable for good working condition of machine. e. Sample of white paper of above mentioned brand is to be submitted by the bidder along with tender document for approval. 05. Penalty: During non working of Zerox machine:- You have to make alternative arrangement in such a way that work should not suffer. However, non working of machine penalty of Rs. 250/- per day per machine will be charged if machine remains in non working condition more than 24 hrs. for reason mentioned above or even for non availability of operator. 06. Further extra charges for operator will not be paid if called on Holiday/asked to work after/before office hours. 07. Machine shall be installed for the period of two years. However, GSECL at its discretion without assigning any reason may reduce or terminate the contract at any time before above contract period of two years without paying any compensation. In the event of unsatisfactory performance of contract or in the event of any complaint regarding malfunction irrespective of copying accounting or paper used etc. the contract will be cancelled and balance work will be done at your risk and cost. 08. Timings (Normal) : 10 to & to GSECL reserves the right to interchange quantity as per actual. 10. Time Limit: 24 months or till expiry of ordered quantity/amount whichever is later. 11. You have to appoint supervisor to supervise the work and to carryout the instruction given by the GSECL. 12. You have to give co-operation in measurement; otherwise GSECL will measure the work done by you and payment will be made accordingly. 13. THE PAYMENT WILL BE MADE AS PER ACTUAL WORK DONE ONLY.
