This person will track and follow up on all orders with factories, maintain production reports, and help facilitate shipments between our freight forwarders and warehouse to ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner. Submit fabric/color/trim standards to factories and follow through on approvals. Issue purchase orders and invoices to vendors/customer. Proficiency in Gerber systems required; including experience with grading and alterations. Proficiency creating Tech Packs. Knowledge of fabrics, construction, and fit standards. Job Description: For full package and non-full package styles, this role is responsible for ensuring that garments meet aesthetic, fit, construction and workmanship requirements for the design through production approval process, within established timelines for assigned product line. Create and maintain proto tech packs (for full package), or 1st patterns (for non-full package) from design sketches that ensure first proto samples meet design s intent on styling, fit and construction. Tech packs to include detailed construction sketches and instructions, tolerances, graded measurement specifications, how to measure sketches on an exception basis, BOM, and any special handling instructions. Provide pattern and garment measurements for non-full package styles on pattern card. Incorporate production issue resolutions back into the proto development process for future seasons. Maintain all grading, construction, how to measure, and procedural standards. Effectively run fittings. Follow sample management guidelines.
